    Added to that you have the pending issue regarding minimum age for Seniors. My gut is telling me that if the age change goes through, c elements dominate Juniors, not so much at the Senior level.

    This is so very true! Now for my public service announcement! Hip dysplacia has a strong hereditary component. Other high risk factors are 1st born, female, and breach delivery. Many woman have very mild mild cases of it and probably are not aware of it. As a result, their daughters are not...

    Isabeau skated her short this morning and she will skate her long later today. Apparently this is considered an "exhibition" since she is skating her Junior Worlds program there but domestically she is a Senior.

    In case anyone is interested, rumor has it that Isabeau is competing in a local competition this weekend, Philadelphia Areas hosted by the Philadelphia Skating club in Ardmore. As with any early season competition, there is a high withdrawal rate.

    The way I read this thred, 1st Olympics tends to be learning experiences, 2nd time is where things "click." Following that, 2026 would be Ilia's 1st Olympics. 2030 would be is 2nd (he would be 25 years old). That is a long time for any skater, but especially quadsters.

    My brother and I occassionally talk about it. My brother's daughter rode horses. First hesold the city home to get the country home. Then built the barn and fenced in the area. Then got the thoroughbred but it got lonely so had to get pony. Pony got lonely when the the other horse was at shows...

    When she is skating alot, she needed new boots about every 6-9 months. Blades lasted about a year.

    Seems like last time I got boots and blades (non custom) for my daughter, it was about $1200 US. I think the fees were somewhat split between the 2.

    Four years ago, Med also expressed frustration that she was not given the more difficult programs which resulted in her "only" getting silver. At least Med also had a TE gold.
