There is age eligibility requirements for internationally competing as a junior, but not for domestic competitions. It's fairly common for newer pairs to be over the age of junior eligibility. It's more about skill level. As someone new to pairs, it would be hard and risky for her to jump to...
Have they ever done SBS toes? I can't recall them ever trying those, but I could be wrong. Ashley was always more of an edge jumper even in singles. Tim did SBS toes with DeeDee, but I don't recall Cain/Leduc ever doing them.
Lol They skated to take me to church for 2 seasons. I just don't like the hate Tarah gets. Is Danny better? For sure but she's fabulous in her own right. She came out of nowhere to pair with Danny and did a lot for the sport. You have to remember Danny is her first and only partner....
Listen, I am a former skater. I am not here to call out all the technical problems in her jumps. I am just saying I like them and thought they were good. Nothing else. They were a great team that had some good results that's all. If/when they retire I will miss them. Their take me to...
Where are you coming from with Tarah not rotating her jumps? She rarely get ur calls. Her tech skills might be limited but what she does she does well. Danny was/is amazing but Tarah wasn't just standing around in all of this.
Regardless of their shortcomings, Tarah and Danny had a great career even if it ends now. They both were talented and had an it factor although injury seemed to slow them down. They were Olympic alternates, grand prix medalists, national champions, and 4cc champions. That's pretty impressive...
I am probably one of their biggest fans and the answer would be no. But I did think they had some momentum in 2016 that was lost due to injuries. I think they could have managed a top 6 at one point. Plus, as of this year's skate America they still had the highest world standings of all the...
Although I was in the audience when they missed that lift in 2019 and actually screamed "Oh my God" and loved the high drama of it all, aren't they disqualified because they won 4cc's one year and medaled another year? Or because they were both Olympic years they don't count?
I am pretty positive they are still an off ice couple if that makes it better. Haven's 2a was truly a trainwreck:gallopin1 but they had beautiful lifts
In the SP Tara or Johnny mentioned they took out the 3lo and went with the 3s instead which I think is a smart move period to keep in the future.
I know people say maybe they should take out the sbs jumps for something easier but I think the 3s and 3l are Ashley's two best triples. I don't...
Most right handed skaters skate to the left. That's basically how you are taught. It's opposite of ballet. As someone right handed I think it's because by skating left you land on your right foot, which is more natural to right handers. Most left handed skaters I knew did jump to the right...
I am assuming you mistakenly quoted me, but I do have verifiable knowledge of the situation. I would never post something on a public message board as a fact if it was a guess or speculation. I also prefer not to go into the details of their split, as I think it's a private matter. I only...
