What is the stupid recurring argument that you & your spouse keep having?

My husband does a BJ's run once a month, mainly for bulk toilet paper, tissues, paper towels, hand soap, etc. Also we get certain bulk food items there, like bags of string cheese sticks, coffee beans, Honey Nut Cheerios, peanut butter, diced tomatoes, etc. But yeah the store was the most useful...

January Democratic Debate: Seeking Someone of Unimpeachable Credentials

I like Tammy Duckworth. I don't know as she would be be picked as a potential VP, but I like her. I think Cory Booker would be worth considering. Castro would probably be too progressive for Biden. Definitely not Sinema, I would NOT want to see her on the ticket.

January Democratic Debate: Seeking Someone of Unimpeachable Credentials

I can only assume that Bernie chose to run because he really genuinely believed that he could bring something to this race that Warren could not. Maybe that "something" was just maleness and perceived electability, LOL. Or the proven supporter base from his first run. I'm sure, in his mind, he...

The Race for the 2020 POTUS elections

I posted earlier in this thread about Warren’s disability plan and expressed a concern that people with disabilities could become a Republican “target” group in a second Trump term. This article almost makes the case that this is already happening...

@aftershocks Thank you for the interview ideas! Those are some good suggestions. I will see what I can do. :D WRT Sarah's site, I don't know if she's going to be doing any pre-Nationals articles. My understanding is she's been pretty busy with real-life work lately. ;)

January Democratic Debate: Seeking Someone of Unimpeachable Credentials

The only real issue in the general election should be Trump and the Republicans, as they continue to destroy our country's credibility, alliances, norms of governing, moral standing (family separation, etc.), protections against poisoning the environment, and the general public's faith in the...

Thanks so much @text_skate! I do miss writing pairs recaps, but had to choose between that and some other work this fall. I've not had any magazine offers yet, but it's something to look into. I might try some crowdfunding next season--we'll see! :D

January Democratic Debate: Seeking Someone of Unimpeachable Credentials

We only saw the first two-thirds of the debate, but I actually thought most of the candidates did quite well. Seeing them up there, and hearing them, it was a good reminder that any of them (even probably Steyer) would be far, far better than the current occupant. I thought Warren handled the...

Memorable Supporting Performances: Film, TV, Streaming, Stage

Since I have Little Women on my mind right now, I have to mention Trini Alvarado, who played Meg in the 1994 version of Little Women. I loved her in that role.

Hi everyone ... So I know things have been pretty quiet on my web site this fall/winter. It's because I've been busy writing some articles for Figure Skaters Online and U.S. Fan Zone. But I am back now with a new interview that I think you'll enjoy. It's with Roman Sadovsky, who won a surprise...

The Race for the 2020 POTUS elections

I'll be honest and say I don't know the details of Bloomberg's exploitation of POC (outside of his support for stop-and-frisk as NYC Mayor, which I'm familiar with). But I still oppose him because he has entered this race for just one reason, as far as I can tell, and that's to stop Bernie...

The Race for the 2020 POTUS elections

Catching up on the Warren-Sanders controversy this morning & the thing I find the most interesting is how a number of people are calling out Warren negatively on Twitter for supposedly leaking the story about Bernie reputedly saying a woman couldn't win. One person even called it "cold-blooded"...
