Does anyone know what the bag policy is for Finlandia at the Helsinki Ice Hall?
In the US, ice skating events often have a bag policy and only allow bags of a certain size and / or only allow clear bags. I'm not sure if this is the case in Finland? We have not received any emails from Lippu...
Unfortunately, it looks like we only get 2 days to watch Skate Canada, at least that is the case so far for the Women's Short and Pairs Short.
Ar least there are replays at all.
I don't understand all of these posts proclaiming that Chock & Bates should leave already. They are the 3-time & reigning World Champions - it's not like they are barely cracking the Top 10 at World's and hanging on long past their prime. It's fairly obvious that the World Champions the year...
Interesting to note that Amber's 214.78 would have been 4th at Grand Prix de France and Alysa's 212.07 would have been 5th. For reference, Isabeau finished 4th and scored 212.71 at GP France - it was a tough field!
For Cup of China, so far 3 of the 4 Short Programs say they are available for 3 days. Men's Short is only available for 2 days for whatever reason for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.
I'm really happy that the Peacock stream is available for 3 full days this year, at least for the first Grand Prix. I hope it stays that way throughout the season! Great job to USFS for fixing this - I was just thinking how inconvenient / impossible it would be to watch Cup of China live and...
I was not impressed by Elyce this season or last season. She had a lot of maybe unfortunate hype last season but never delivered on the Grand Prix. I think she needs to get a new coach asap.
I'm not the biggest Jason Brown fan and have questioned some of his assignments in the past, but I think it is undeniable and well-deserved that he will be on the Olympic team if he remains healthy.
He has gone to the World Championships 3 times this Olympic cycle and placed 5th, 5th, and 8th...
I mean USFS kind of has to give Chan / Howe the Skate America TBD spot if they have not picked up a second assignment in the next 2-3 weeks, right? Unless they just hate Chan / Howe for some unkown reason
I really never understood the decision to send Shin / Nagy to the Olympic qualifier over Chan / Howe or even McBeath / Parkman (I guess it was based on Shin / Nagy allegedly performing better at a closed-door fake competition) but this really puts into relief how stupid this decision was by USFS.
