2025-26 US Pairs Discussion - Milano-Bound By Way of Beijing & St. Louis

Is this the same Bartolomay that skated with Deanna Stellato and Katie McBeath?

U.S. Men 2025-26 Discussion - Quad God and the Mere Mortals

I'm not writing Jacob off - I literally said I think he is promising. Just saying I think he will need quads like pretty much all male skaters who are internationally competitive today. Jason Brown is literally in a category of 1 at this point.

U.S. Men 2025-26 Discussion - Quad God and the Mere Mortals

Jacob is a promising skater but he is no Jason Brown. He will absolutely need a quad or ideally 2+ to be competitive internationally

    2025-26 Peacock Streaming

My favorite issue with the Skate America broadcast so far is that the description for the Friday, Nov 14 7:30 pm ET broadcast on E says: "Repeat (10/27/02): From Spokane, Wash. Skaters include Sarah Hughes, Michael Weiss and Alexei Yagudin." Maybe the powers that be at NBC are trying to get...

    2025 Finlandia Planning Thread

Does anyone know what the bag policy is for Finlandia at the Helsinki Ice Hall? In the US, ice skating events often have a bag policy and only allow bags of a certain size and / or only allow clear bags. I'm not sure if this is the case in Finland? We have not received any emails from Lippu...

2025 Skate Canada Dance Podium Poll

I got it right also - love the Lithuanians this season!

    2025-26 Peacock Streaming

Unfortunately, it looks like we only get 2 days to watch Skate Canada, at least that is the case so far for the Women's Short and Pairs Short. Ar least there are replays at all.

2025-26 U.S. Ice Dance News, Updates & Discussion - Backstreet Boys & Spice Girls

I don't understand all of these posts proclaiming that Chock & Bates should leave already. They are the 3-time & reigning World Champions - it's not like they are barely cracking the Top 10 at World's and hanging on long past their prime. It's fairly obvious that the World Champions the year...

U.S. Women [#8]: Meet Me in St. Louis

Totally agree. And I do think it will be those 3 in Milan barring injury. Very glad we get to enjoy all 3!

U.S. Women [#8]: Meet Me in St. Louis

Interesting to note that Amber's 214.78 would have been 4th at Grand Prix de France and Alysa's 212.07 would have been 5th. For reference, Isabeau finished 4th and scored 212.71 at GP France - it was a tough field!

    2025-26 Peacock Streaming

For Cup of China, so far 3 of the 4 Short Programs say they are available for 3 days. Men's Short is only available for 2 days for whatever reason for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.

    2025-26 Peacock Streaming

I'm really happy that the Peacock stream is available for 3 full days this year, at least for the first Grand Prix. I hope it stays that way throughout the season! Great job to USFS for fixing this - I was just thinking how inconvenient / impossible it would be to watch Cup of China live and...

U.S. Women [#8]: Meet Me in St. Louis

I was not impressed by Elyce this season or last season. She had a lot of maybe unfortunate hype last season but never delivered on the Grand Prix. I think she needs to get a new coach asap.

U.S. Men 2025-26 Discussion - Quad God and the Mere Mortals

I'm not the biggest Jason Brown fan and have questioned some of his assignments in the past, but I think it is undeniable and well-deserved that he will be on the Olympic team if he remains healthy. He has gone to the World Championships 3 times this Olympic cycle and placed 5th, 5th, and 8th...
