I'm not writing Jacob off - I literally said I think he is promising. Just saying I think he will need quads like pretty much all male skaters who are internationally competitive today. Jason Brown is literally in a category of 1 at this point.

Jacob is a promising skater but he is no Jason Brown. He will absolutely need a quad or ideally 2+ to be competitive internationally

Does anyone know what the bag policy is for Finlandia at the Helsinki Ice Hall? In the US, ice skating events often have a bag policy and only allow bags of a certain size and / or only allow clear bags. I'm not sure if this is the case in Finland? We have not received any emails from Lippu...

Unfortunately, it looks like we only get 2 days to watch Skate Canada, at least that is the case so far for the Women's Short and Pairs Short. Ar least there are replays at all.

Totally agree. And I do think it will be those 3 in Milan barring injury. Very glad we get to enjoy all 3!

Interesting to note that Amber's 214.78 would have been 4th at Grand Prix de France and Alysa's 212.07 would have been 5th. For reference, Isabeau finished 4th and scored 212.71 at GP France - it was a tough field!

For Cup of China, so far 3 of the 4 Short Programs say they are available for 3 days. Men's Short is only available for 2 days for whatever reason for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.

I was not impressed by Elyce this season or last season. She had a lot of maybe unfortunate hype last season but never delivered on the Grand Prix. I think she needs to get a new coach asap.
