    2018 Olympics Team Event Qualification

Great Britain only has 1 entry (Ice Dance, presumably going to Coomes/Buckland) in Pyeongchang which is why they're crossed out. Right now they're the 3rd alternate in Men's, 11th in Ladies, and 3rd/4th in Pairs (depending on what's going down with the NK team). Even if Russia doesn't compete...

Yeah, he may not be on the top top tier of skaters but he is still skilled and very entertaining. (I miss his curls)

The development of skating in Southeast Asia & OAS skater updates

Two things from Nebelhorn to draw attention to: 1) Julian Zhi Jie Yee has qualified Malaysia's first EVER Winter Olympics spot, in any sport. Ever. Congrats to him. 2) Joanna So of HKG just skated her FS, and raised her ISU PB total score by a massive 32 points! Go Joanna!

U.S. Ladies [#18]: These Boots Are Made for Skating

True but if she has the TES for 4CC, she has the TES for the Olympics, since they're the same. Worlds can be worried about later.

It's not the exact same dress. Similar color of the dress and appliques, different neckline and back and such. Emmy's FS vs Christina's 2012 dress

U.S. Ladies [#18]: These Boots Are Made for Skating

Emmy's smile on the podium was so big. It looked great on her. Also, her and her coach's reactions to her scores were priceless. What a great first JGP event!

U.S. Ladies [#18]: These Boots Are Made for Skating

Technically, based on priority as per JWs finishes, all the spots that USA gained weren't from CHN. The Brisbane spot was from GER. Also, GBR has had someone assigned since Belarus assignments came out. You must have missed it. Also, as per the Group C rules (1 spot in only 6 events) SWE does...

ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating 2017/18 - locations & preliminary information

Entries for later events are almost always placeholders because they have to submit names too early. Nothing (at least US-wise) is considered an official assignment until it appears on the USFS International Assignments page

ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating 2017/18 - locations & preliminary information

I'm wondering if they're waiting to send contingents to the BLR/CRO/POL events since for those events, they have entries in all 4 disciplines. Maybe it's easier to send a few bigger groups than scattered entries, if they have minimal juniors they want to send/can fund.

ISU Junior Grand Prix of Figure Skating 2017/18 - locations & preliminary information

Interestingly, I've noticed that there are 0 Chinese entries total, across all 4 disciplines and all 3 events with published entry lists so far, despite China being allotted a total of 9 entries (2 Men/3 Ladies/3 Pairs/1 Dance) so far. Hopefully they'll send some skaters to the BLR/CRO/POL...
