I had never looked into FOFS before, but I just read benefits page about it and I'm a little confused... it says that FOFS members get advanced ticket sales to Skate America, but not U.S. Championships. Yet everyone seems to be buying tickets to U.S. Championships this morning, right?
Thank you @Sylvia, I wish they'd just come out and say that from the beginning. I don't know how they expect to grow a fan base when they only ever dole out half of the information. Why keep it secret? Just come right out and say "Per-event ticket sales, if available, will go on sale in the Fall...
How do ticket sales for Nats work if you don't want an all-session ticket? Do they wait for sales of all-session tickets to plateau before announcing a sale date for per-competition tickets? If so, are those generally the same week, or weeks to months later? The USFS announcement only says that...

It’s explicitly laid out in the music rules for the season.
From ISU Communication No. 2704: “Music created via AI in the ‘Style of 1990’s’ is also permitted.”
That's probably too expensive for them. I assume they're banking on Olympics excitement combined with targeted social media ads being enough. Then maybe some local radio spots if they haven't sold out in the week leading up to a show.
SOI needs to update their website. They have Alysa listed as...
If so, that would be a smart move to synergistically pre-hype OWG SLC 2034 a little bit in their nats announcement. I bet so few people know that those games are in the U.S.
Oh, that's interesting. I wonder why it wasn't listed. I see that the USA sent no judges there, so he was a delegation of one presumably. I imagine they're trying to get him some last-minute points to maybe get him a standby GP selection next year? With so many retirements, his new ranking of 57...
I noticed that there's a substitution for Jr. Worlds Ice Dance that hasn't been mentioned here.
As of Feb 19th:
Jane Calhoun and Mark Zheltyshev (withdrawn)
Michelle Deych and Ryan Hu (added)
Only a few competitions left for assignment. Synchro Worlds and Jr. Worlds and two multi-discipline...
I think a large part of it is the U.S. media hype machine. Suddenly, with all of the airtime and promos and interviews, top athletes are suddenly cast as superstars on the American stage for 2-3 straight weeks leading up to their event. It messes with heads. It's especially bad for the few that...
I bet they just don't understand that the usage licensing rights were already available for purchase at the rights clearinghouses. They must think they need to sign off on this specific usage.
It wouldn’t be a traditional microphone, just flat pressure transducers between the ice and subsurface in a few locations would be my guess. Nothing that would interfere with the ice surface whatsoever. Still though, they must go.
Worn with the music, I think it blasts past an homage into a portrayal. Like most of the music it’s not about the likelihood of being sued, it’s about the possibility of being sued.
