Severance isn't exactly what I expected. I thought it'd be a bizarre sci-fi story, but to me it's an extremely intense love story between Mark and Helly (so far).
I saw Call Me By Your Name tonight. I thought it was generally well done and Timothee Chalamet was great, but I wasn't feeling the chemistry between Timmy and Armie Hammer at all.
Well I feel like the final scene was meant to be vaguely optimistic about Igora. Not in the sense that they'll be romantically involved, but that they might be friends. The final scene is so quiet compared to the entire movie, and Anora finally connects with someone in a genuine way.

So I stayed home sick today and saw Anora. I didn't dislike it at all, surprised at all the hate this film gets. I thought the acting was wonderful all around. I thought it was a clever response to the Cinderella stories like Pretty Woman.
