2025 Skate Canada Int'l in Saskatchewan & 2026 Canadians in Gatineau QC

I’ve gone to a few hockey games and events around the slush puppy center and I think the parking situation is better than TD Place. There are a few options walking distance to the arena as well. The food situation is ok, I would plan to dine in the restaurants nearby. There are a few good ones...

2020 Skate Canada International has been cancelled

I just hope Ottawa will get a chance to hold the event sooner rather than later(maybe in the next couple of years). I was looking forward to having Skate Canada in my city again.

Which beloved or highly regarded skaters do you personally NOT love or highly regard??

I never liked Elvis Stojko - I like skaters who have variety and really this guy just skated to the same themes and his show programs are literally the same choreography to different music. Michael Weiss - He never impressed me at all Plushenko - I don't know if it was the look he had or the...

    2019-2020 Fall - Spring TV New/Returning Shows

I watched a few episodes of the great on amazon prime. It’s pretty good! I’m really enjoying Elle Fanning‘s character. I’m really not regretting getting amazon prime during the self isolation period.

What was your first exposure to figure skating?

My parents put me in Canskate at an early age so that I could keep up when my school would go on field trips to our local rink. I took a liking to it and that year at our carnival, Josee Chouinard was invited to skate. I was a very impressed 5 year old and told my parents I wanted to be just...

Intermittent fasting and other dieting trends

A coworker and I did IF for a little bit before Christmas and I really liked it. I work in an office environment so I feel like I'm constantly sitting and eating. It did worked well and I did loose weight while fasting although I only ate between the hours of 11 - 7. It forced me to drink more...

Montreal chosen as host for 2020 figure skating world championships

Or a Boston Bruins jersey. Habs fans have a hatred for Boston.

This is great! I've wanted to do the same with all the videos I transferred from VHS to MP4 but I'm lacking the time to do so!

Skate Canada International (SCI) 2020 to be held in Ottawa

I really enjoyed seeing Nationals in 2017 at TD place as it's a nice arena and a little more intimate than Canadian Tire Center in Kanata. I would suggest that if you are driving, to buy a parking pass for the weekend. I didn't buy one for Nationals and could not find parking on the Saturday so...

Lubov Ilyushechkina and Charlie Bilodeau Cheer Thread

Same I never really liked Charlie when he skated with Julianne. But he’s growing on me with this new partnership. I’m so excited to see them grow as a pair.
