Arguments could be made that Lithuanians could have ranked 2nd. I rewatched Lobacheva/Averbukh's FD at SLC a few months ago. They seem sloppier and more lacking in content than I remembered from the past.

I also like the team event. And Olympic team medals certainly mean something. But I cringe when people, for instance, refer to Kaetlyn Osmond as a "two-time Olympic medalist" or Virtue and Moir as "three-time Olympic gold medalists" without differentiating where the medals came from. No. Just no.

Another unpopular opinion: an Olympic team medal is NOT equivalent to an Olympic individual medal!

Are Radionova and Sotnikova clockwise jumpers but jump counter clockwise in competition? While I believe having the coach having to jump in both directions is unreasonable (the skater can choose to jump their natural direction), I don't otherwise I agree with you.

If she continues skating this well, I think we can see PCS start rising to 74ish at the GPF, and above 75 in the later part of the season.

That makes more sense, but it's still very unfortunate.
