This is how the afternoon show started as well, so that's what they meant to do apparently, ie, having Jacob come out and start the group number off before Brian came out (at least in the afternoon show, the rest of the skaters came out after a moment or 2). Jacob's actual number was later in...
Attended the afternoon show:
As I already posted in their fan thread, Z/K are just amazing to me, even more than you get from tv. They included great content considering it was an exhibition program, including their competitive lifts and a full-out twizzle sequence that
:kickass: I couldn't...
I just saw them live for the first time at the Philly show, and I went from big fan to uber just like that. I’ve fallen hard. They are amazing performers!
The last photo in Ilia's GPF post is him doing 2 quad axels in sequence in practice.

For some reason I thought Alysa hadn't qualified, that's great! So, Ilia, Z/K, and Alysa will probably all be traveling straight from the GPF to Philly.

I'm thrilled they'll be at the GPF and also very excited to hear they've been added to the benefit in Philly on Dec 13 (as has Alysa) - I guess they and Ilia going from the GPF to the Philly show on a quick turnaround. I'm looking forward to the show!
I was going to say something after the...
There's little doubt that Ilia and C/B will the ones that get to choose.
Who knows what each will want to do and what "side" discussions might influence their decisions. I think the US would be almost equally as strong in each phase if they end up splitting the women, and obviously would be the...
To be honest, and I say this as a longtime very huge Jason fan, even he needs a quad to challenge for medals at the world and Olympic level (barring help rom several skaters). He is unique in having been near the top of US men and consistently top 5-6 in the world for over a decade without one...
The USFS dance test structure no longer specifies gendered roles in the compulsory dances - it's Lead and Follow. They made this change a couple of years ago. There isn't any reason why doing away with gendered requirements has to lead to no patterns.
