Chock/Bates withdrew from the gala, stating medical reasons, and Olivia Smart hit her head during a lift gone bad in the gala (but no word if it's anything serious). This dance season is bringing new levels of chaos.

They ended up withdrawing after doing the morning practice and the warm-up. I don't doubt it was the right choice, but it was so heartbreaking to see how sad they looked.
