U.S. Men 2025-26 Discussion - Quad God and the Mere Mortals

It's the Jacob Banks version of "Say Something," which is a stronger and bolder version. Jason included a short clip: https://www.instagram.com/p/DM0sep6uHjH/ Jason previously teased us with a post that included some of his work with Randi Strong on the long program choreo...

    2025-26 Program Music and Choreographers

Sonja Hilmer has revealed her long program music along with the costume. It's Isha's Song by Eason Chan from Arcane. She did the choreography and costume herself. https://www.instagram.com/reels/DM0_Ik1Jz0h/

U.S. Women [#8]: Meet Me in St. Louis

I've never been particularly drawn to Alysa's musicality or movement on ice, but I love this dancing from Alysa. I hope she was working with Randi Strong on skating choreography in addition to this dancing off the ice: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DMvfhBKSAlM/

U.S. Women [#8]: Meet Me in St. Louis

It looks like Randi Strong spent last week working on choreography with Alysa and then with Isabeau. Maybe we are going to see some very new programs from them in the next couple of weeks. https://www.instagram.com/p/DMjG157uLmc/

    2025-26 Program Music and Choreographers

He missed a lot of training time, but he's back on the ice and training at the Cricket Club. He's posted on IG just a couple of times, including a Biellman spin, so it looks like his hip is okay. He also had one IG story with a quad (that looked a little under). I can't wait to see how he...

    Ilia Malinin Fan Thread!

There is no coaching change. Ilia's mother is one of his primary coaches. Ilia doesn't train with Raf on a daily basis, and Raf doesn't come to all of Ilia's competitions. But, as @Karen-W mentioned, I'm sure Raf will end up in the Kiss and Cry with Ilia in Milan.

As the Page Turns (the Book Thread)

My book club always enjoys Frederik Backman's books. His new one is "My Friends." I haven't read it yet, but I hear good things. For non-fiction, I was surprised by how interesting Ina Garten's memoir was. I'd recommend it.

Downtown Jason Brown - Let the Good Times Roll (uber thread #2)

Jason has been busy on Instagram with posts and stories this summer. It's really interesting following his training and his work on choreography for his new programs. He hasn't said what his music is other than that he hasn't finalized it yet and he is planning on his long program...

I've been wondering about her, too. I hope she's okay.

    2025-26 Program Music and Choreographers

Sandra Bezic choreographed a lot of programs. I think the difference with Benoit is that his programs very much look like him. Shae Lynn is doing a lot of choreography, but I don't think it's the same situation as with Benoit.

U.S. Women [#8]: Meet Me in St. Louis

 As soon as I saw her IG post, I knew you would be thrilled. I'm glad she's working with Kaitlyn Weaver again.

    Ilia Malinin Fan Thread!

I was wondering that, too. It does take good control. He has improved his control of the back flip landings. I wonder if he chose to start doing the back flip with a one-foot landing because he has been planning to use it as an entry into jumps.

    Ilia Malinin Fan Thread!

Now that the rules allow back flips, can he do the back flip as an entrance to a jump in competition?

U.S. Women [#8]: Meet Me in St. Louis

 And let's hope Amber doesn't put Amlactin on her costume. Isabeau also posted some of the proofs from the photo shoot. I didn't really think the pastel blue costume went well with the Red Bull logo. I found it interesting that they went with that color and style and didn't go for a...
