I loved the dress, but not for this music. I was confused.

I love all the top three rhythm dances. Watching GuiFab live my 70-something year old mother said "hideous costumes". I replied "it was the 80s". Her reply was "Ah. Then they're perfect."

I don't think it's a weaker season, just LOTS of mistakes by the top teams. The Canadian teams in particular had rough skates.

I had Torvill & Dean in first, followed by Grishuk & Platov, and Usova & Zhulin. For pairs, I had it the same way the judges did. Up against any other team, M&D's free skate would have come out on top. But for me, G&G's unison and pair-ness are unmatched. Coupled with the Beethoven...

So hard to say who will likely join Kaori & Loena on the podium. I went with Amber, but honestly it could be so many of the women.

Garbage judging. Sure they can lift. But they can't throw or jump. Efimova/Mitrofanov leave me cold as ice, but they deserved to win.

Lindsay T - I had forgotten she was in first after the short by a 5 point lead. Really great skate for someone who hasn't been in this position. The opening lutz combo was great. Shame about the stupid fall. I still want her to have more expression during the program. Yay to Ava winning a GP...
