That looks like a fabulous few days of theater. I wasn't aware of the "Camelot" but now I'm just envious of you getting to see it. I watched a Youtube video of Philippa Soo and her Arthur (name escapes me but he looks really young) and it was enjoyable. But whoa...Lancelot! Jordan Donica has...
NYCB made its first-ever virtual gala available on youtube May 6. Filmed by Sophia Coppola and featuring five works and members of the company shot at the Koch Theater, I thought that it really was special and a reminder of what we hopefully will be able to experience in person this fall.

Great news! The film version of the original cast of Hamilton, scheduled for theatrical release in summer 2021, will be streamed on Disney Plus this July 3!

I'm sure that you Broadway musical fans saw this already, but in case anyone missed it, check out the youtube event for Stephen Sondheim's 90th birthday this weekend. About 2.5 hrs of the best theater performers doing Sondheim's wonderful songs, from home with minimal accompaniment, as a...
John Krasinski's Some Good News podcast last night had an amazing surprise for a young "Hamilton" fan who was missing her chance to see the show on Broadway.
Scroll to about the halfway mark...what a fantastic use of technology to create a wonderful performance...
Broadway.com is doing a special episode of the Rosie O'Donnell show on its youtube channel tonight. Some of my favorite musical performers are appearing, with fundraising for the Actor's Fund.
Aaron Tveit, Sutton Foster, Jeremy Jordan and more.
7 pm ET tonight...
Along the same lines, I discovered YouTube recordings of the annual MCC's MisCast gala, where performers do songs for roles in which they would never best cast--men in women's roles and vice versa. A few of my faves:

Thanks so much for the link. I don't know how I feel about such a different take on a musical that I have known and loved for so long. I also wonder how it will impact reaction to the upcoming Spielberg film. It will be quite a year for WSS fans, no matter what.
I hope that it's OK to link to a well-known performer that I re-discovered this week.

I forgot how amazing Joni Mitchell was until I found this video. She seems to be so of that time yet timeless.
"Good Morning America" just teased a segment on this morning's show. I can see (dimly) a reason for NBC to be doing news stories on the incident, but ABC? Probably by Christine :rolleyes::rolleyes:Brennan, too.
I have no personal connection to these guys, but only found them through YouTube last year:
Ramin Karimloo and Hadley Fraser:

VIETgrlTerifa, thanks for that thoughtful review, including the "personal stuff." I read the book several years ago and loved it, but was disappointed in the sequel. Recently, I got the third book from the library and was pleased that Kwan seemed to be back on form.
I have been looking...
