The last time I went to US nationals--Omaha, I only had the weekend pass so no official practice pass. We just flashed our day ticket at the usher manning the door at 8am and they would just glance and wave us in. Have no idea if this will be the same in Nashville and I don't think it will...

Such sad news to wake up to. Even though my house had extensive roof damage from Hurricane Ida, I was 350 miles away when said damaged happened--next door neighbor who did ride out Ida said it was the worst experience of his life and was praying for his life to be spared. So my heart breaks...

Cause my medical leave is ongoing, I'm home on my sofa and I just turned on the stream. Some team that I didn't catch the name for is skating to Vanilla Ice Edited to add it was Luria and Emo in jr dance from France that skated to "Ice Ice Ice Baby"

Its sad that Amanda Tobin was ignored this fall by Skate Canada so no matter how she does at Ottawa nationals, her season is over with as IMHO, she really put herself into contention for the podium this weekend in Regina. And I said this in the Challenge thread but why are they spending money...

Well another great Challenge in the books. Even though Skate Canada drives me nuts sometimes, its great that they don't geo block their streams giving this American a chance to watch. See everyone in the Golden Spin thread next week as my Medical Leave has a few more weeks to go; I promise...

It will be interesting to see how that free program looks in 5 weeks at Canadians for Daleman. Could be a contender for the podium

So skate canada found the $$ to send THREE pair teams to have some stupid pre Olympic skate off at Golden Spin but couldn't find the $$ to send a couple of the top girls that need min scores for 4CC. Craziness

That's a shame about Tobin as there is a real possibility that she's up there in Ottawa nationals and doesn't get a chance to skate at 4CC.

Does Tobin have 4CC mins?

Does Schumacher even like skating!? asking for a friend. Granted she's already qualified but she looked like she just half-assed that skate
