Some never develop. You know what I meant. This is as bad as people claiming SA survivors are “underage women.”

At least he has a better costume than what Urmy wore. He was my first Russian male skater crush.Yes, the first skater I watched win Olympic Gold has now coached an Olympic Gold Medalist
For Ilia it's an 8 year wait since he was denied the chance to go in 2022.The German commentators said it could have been the ice - so chewed up from so many hard jumps. It does make sence as Yuma made mistakes and general sloppyness. He`s never like that.
Oh well, Illia now will be doing the Chen 4 year wait.
One thing that is comforting in all of this, is that his coach/dad seems to be a level headed kind of guy who seems to always be there for his son and, despite what the hype train tried to show us, Ilya himself seems to be reflection of that.Ilia earned massive points from me for being so genuine and classy. At the end of a day, it's all about who you are as a human.
But he's belting out that anthem!Shaidorov still seems in shock.
There's a photographer ( who may post here ) who tweeted one day that she reckons the audience is 60% American, 30% Italian and 10% other nations at figure skating events.at the amount of people who left and aren't watching the medal presentation. Bitter sponsors their guy didn't medal, I guess.
Shaidorov still seems in shock.
Sounds cute but no. Speaking for myself, I cannot imagine wanting to go back and watch these error-filled performances in final group OR listen to the god-awful screeching music of the new Olympic champion’s free skate. Forgettable, through and through.I think it'll be rather a long time before this is forgotten, actually.
It's a sport, in the end. Sometimes exciting and dramatic is memorable even when the skating isn't great.
You definitely have a point. He'll think about it, of course, but I hope it just gives him the motivation to work harder and improve in the areas he needs to. He's young (just turned 21), so he'll (hopefully) have another chance in 2030.All of that is very true, but all the same, he missed out on an Olympic medal by 1.12 points. There's no way he's not going to be thinking about what might have been.
I loved Denis when I saw him at 2009 Worlds live for the first time and had never heard of him before that. I always thought he could have won the Olympics. So happy for Kazakhstan!Who ever thought we'd hear the KAZ anthem at the Olympics for figure skating? I so happy for them.
I found the arena feed. NBC must have fecked off because the US didn't medal, but you can still find it in Peacock.

Adam, Yuma and Ilia will all be doing the wait for a redemptive Olympics in four years. Has there ever been a Games when the last three to skate had such problems? The German commentators said it could have been the ice - so chewed up from so many hard jumps. It does make sence as Yuma made mistakes and general sloppyness. He`s never like that.

I would have loved to see his reaction if we have the normal situation with the skaters sitting with their coaches when they find out.Yes, the first skater I watched win Olympic Gold has now coached an Olympic Gold Medalist.

The venue feed rocks! All of the medal ceremonies have been on the venue feed.
Now I feel old.Yes, the first skater I watched win Olympic Gold has now coached an Olympic Gold Medalist.

How about Cha? .98 more points and he would have medaled. All of that is very true, but all the same, he missed out on an Olympic medal by 1.12 points. There's no way he's not going to be thinking about what might have been.
Where do you get off quoting my post and lecturing me about what should be memorable or forgettable to ME? Keep YOUR condescension to yourself. Is that direct enough for you?Wow, condescending much?
