There are many of us that started on this site in midlife and now the “A Place for Mom” ads are too close to reality.

What a shame that some of the parents are not able to bring themselves to be present in the arena to see their childen compete. Like Ilia's mom and Amber's mom. I guess I understand it .... they are so nervous for their kids ... but to BE there when your child succeeds would be a "moment in time" that would live on in your heart forever. I know Brian Orser's mom used to hide in the women's bathroom when he skated and I always thought that was kind of sad. She missed so many wonderful moments.

She chose to do that, and she got to see all the joy afterwards if he won. It's not like she missed the entire event.

I know wrestling is super popular, but wrestling commercials always make me wonder why. I've never seen anything less appealing.

The whole show is always much more entertaining than the commercials.

Just knock it off. You're posts in defense of Jason turn off way more people than you realize. It's taken me this entire Olympic cycle to be able to, most of the time, look beyond your excessive fandom and appreciate Jason the way I used to before you decided you needed to be his biggest fan & jump to defend him from any and all criticism.
