Donovan landed everything in his sp run-through. He got tons of loud cheers, it sounds like he has lots of fans here.

Miura just did the jumps from his LP, without most of the choreo. I didn't keep track of his jumps but they were all fantastic aside from a step out on one 3a.

According to skating Twitter, the Japanese men had a good early morning practice.

All three US men were here. I thought Jason’s jumps looked good. Hopefully he got some training in since nationals and the rotations will be better.

Cam was mostly good. A couple pops here and there.

And Ilia did very little jumping. Hoping he is just not a morning person.

Notably, the SP layout does not seem to have the 4A in it. Setup & entry for the first jumping pass was his usual 4z entry rather than the spread eagle he does into his axels.

ETA - per GoldenSkate in the mixed zone after practice, he hasn't decided on his SP layout yet so we could see the 4A on Friday.

That was quick! I showed up in time for their group, enjoyed seeing the Czech FDs this time (and though I’d hoped for Madonna, All that Jazz from OriPir was still great fun again).

Pairs next! Saw nothing yesterday so looking forward.

Junior Worlds was only a few weeks ago, and their free skate was a disaster so it's not surprising that they might be struggling a bit. I guess we'll see whether it carries over into competition tomorrow.
