Has anyone tried reaching out to the ISU on social media regarding the sound issue? It seems like it's going to continue with the men's free skate as I can barely hear the in-arena music, and announcements right now.

I sent him a message. Even though he's not working with his own camera/media team like in the JGP, maybe he's either near the team responsible or able to pass along messages quickly.

Negative GOE on the choreo sequence and rightly so-- there was nothing to it. The program really is non-existent of anything but long set-ups for jumps and crossovers and arm flailing. Jumps more or less done, even with some extra flair on the landings like coach Szabolcs Vidrai used to do when he skated well.

3S
3A
3F+3T - hand down on the toeloop
3F
Change Foot Sit Spin 4

Choreo Sequence
3Lz+1Eu+3S
3Lo

2A+2A+SEQ - first Axel was tight, and landing was poor
Fly Change Foot Combo Spin 4 (3 after review)

Change Foot Combo Spin 4 - loss of speed in the final camel position

Vlasenko is so tall, and he's not comfortable with his height yet. Needs to work on extension, and projection, performance, and musicality.

119.73 = 1st Place
181.85 = 1st Place

Where's My Love is one of those few angsty drama pieces that I actually like.

Not much to say here-- slow skating as well without much cohesion to the music. The spread eagles out of jump landings need to just go away. Make the held landing edge/flow a requirement for positive GOE and that solves that ;)

3A - poor landing
2A - poor landing, no flow
3Lo+2A+SEQ - similar result

3Lz+3T - and again
Change Foot Sit Spin 4
3Lz+1Eu+3S - everything just very tight & awkward
3F
3Lo - no speed on the landing

Choreo Sequence
Fly Camel Spin 4
Change Foot Combo Spin 4

Everything was done, but there's serious lack of quality in the elements, and the skating is very basic, and slow.

118.69 = 2nd Place
182.68 = 1st Place

Don't know what he missed at the beginning but after 5 elements he only had 17 points so he couldn't have done much. Beautiful distance and height on the jumps he does get done, almost a floating quality especially on the Axel. A lot of mindless pointing and arm extending as 'choreography' ;)

I'm a sucker for all of these deep kneed, eased into the ice landings.

Lightyears ahead of the rest of the men thus forth on PCS, and I think his foundations are going to put him well on his way to a successful rise.

There was something very enjoyable and unique about the second half of the program music slowing down.

So much to like in this kid's skating. The triple Axel wasn't quite there, but the other jumps looked so good.

197.47 = 1st Place

Paradis is the new coming of Aymoz when he had that breakthrough in early 2018. Similar on-ice movements to start and within 5 seconds you know he feels and believes in every last move he does.

Still troubles on the Lutz just as he had at Nationals, but some of the easier triples are done effortlessly. Obviously needs to up the technical skills to be in the big picture.. so enjoyable and a breath of fresh air though.

Such a beautiful skater, and when he goes for the jumps he can land some really nice ones. I don't know if he can ever get to quads, but I hope he can get a consistent triple Axel so that at least he can compete at the big international events at the senior level.

130.42 = 2nd Place
193.61 = 2nd Place

Kuperman with beautiful almost delayed rotations in his jumps and then an absolutely abysmal camel position, full with a very bent leg. Can't have it all ;)

I take it back, it's all the spin positions that are quite meh. I don't think he's low enough on his sit variations, either.

A bit of a mess, and Tamir was rushing the takeoffs of the jumps. Needs to slow down a bit, and take his time.
