Except for Aymoz and Miura/Kihari the funny thing is those could all happen. They aren't neccessarily likely, and Gilles & Poirier for silver is particularly a stretch too, but not impossible either.

My backups for Aymoz and Miura/Kihara are Shoma Uno and Tarasova/Morozov.

I'm basing mine on both on dream results and reality

TEAM
1. Russia
2. USA
3. Canada

MEN
1. Kolyada
2. Kagiyama
3. Zhou (I'm not particularly a fan of his, but I'd love to see him skate lights out)

LADIES
1. Scherbakova
2. Valieva
3. Trusova

PAIRS
1. Sui/Han
2. Tarasova/Morozov
3. Miura/Kihara

DANCE (my least realistic result, since I don't like Papadakis/Cizeron, and am not much of a fan of the Russian teams)
1. Chock/Bates
2. Gilles/Poirier
3. Smart/Diaz

Mens- this is a discipline where I have no actual favorites
Gold-Chen he has all the quads and is overdue
Silver/ Bronze - Any combination of Kondratiuk, Hanyu, Zhou, Uno, or whomever lands all their quads is fine

Dance-
Gold- P&C, P&C and P&C by a country mile. This one is at the need stage for me
Silver- Hubbel &Donohue - They are criminally underrated in my opinion
Bronze- would go to whomever wins the dogfight between S&K, C&B , and G&P so long as the performance is convincing and well skated.

Ladies- This is truly my least favorite discipline and if not for the Russian competitors, the ladies event would be an organic substitute for quaaludes . I was very shocked at how generic and boring Euros was until the final flight. No obscure voidy Europeans , which is a surprise. The Japanese and American skaters also just aren't my cup of tea. So, Eteri Tutberidze can have it all as far as I am concerned.
Gold- Valieva or Trusova
Silver- Trusova or Valieva , whichever didn't win gold
Bronze-Scherbakova.

Pairs- I was sour on Pairs until this season, now I find it to be the most exciting discipline. I am not super invested in any specific outcome but may they all SLAY!!!
Gold - Sui and Han or Mishina and Galliamov
Silver- Mishima and Galliamov or Sui and Han
Bronze- Tarasova and Morosov

PAIRS:
Gold: Mishina & Galliamov
Silver: Sui & Han
Bronze: Boikova & Kozlovskii

Ultimately, I do predict Tarasova & Morozov will bump Boikova & Kozlovskii off the podium. It'd be also awesome to see the two US pairs go 5th and 6th -- and it's very doable, IMO.

MEN:
Gold: Hanyu
Silver: Kolyada
Bronze: Chen

Ok, I totally concur that Kolyada medalling here ain't happening, but a fan can dream, right?!?! I'm in the minority here, I think, but I wish Chen actually stuck w/his original Olympic programs. I think they could've been stellar. The reboots in Nashville of his prior programs just seemed stale to me honestly. Having said that I'd predict Chen to actually beat Hanyu w/Kagiyama rounding out the podium.

LADIES:
Gold: Higuchi
Silver: Scherbakova
Bronze: You

I predict the '22 Euros ladies' podium will repeat in the same order in Beijing.

Your toughts...

Then my dream is to have the Olympics only in a country that already treats all humans equally. There's a can of worms. Or Pandora's box?

Personally I don't really care, but a Chen - Zhou - Uno podium will trigger a Twitter stan meltdown so I'm for it. Or something totally chaotic like Grassl winning it all so I can watch people bickering about his jump technique. ;)

Women

Gold - Sakamoto
Silver - Trusova
Bronze - Valieva

Pairs

Gold - Sui / Han
Silver - Mishina / Galliamov
Bronze - Tarasova / Morozov

I prefer S/H winning because they're my compatriots and I've watched them for many years. But I wouldn't mind M/G winning either because they're good and I'd get to see another Twitter stan meltdown. ;)

Dance

Gold - Papadakis / Cizeron
Silver - Guignard / Fabbri
Bronze - Hubbell / Donohue

Hope I won't jinx any of them and wish everyone can stay C19 & injury free.

ETA I forgot the Team Event. I'll go for an unrealistic one:

Gold - Japan
Silver - USA
Bronze - Russia

I am surprised your dream podium has Chen on it. I got the impression you weren't a fan somehow, but I guess I was wrong.

I guess you prefer Hubbell & Donohue to Chock & Bates of the top 2 U.S dance teams? I also prefer H&D. I like both but I prefer their speed and power, and their raw eroticsm on the ice despite that they don't date in real life anymore for awhile now. I feel like I am often in the minority these days on that though.

Or the end of the sham of the Olympics altogether. And its about time that happened. Its a money-making grab and political spectacle for the public relations of whatever government they are held under. The athletes are just pawns in the scheme. No more Olympics would be my dream beyond podiums.

FYI there is a thread for such discussions if anyone is interested: https://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/th...winter-games-protests-politics-thread.108757/

Men:
Kondratiuk & Kagiyama with any color medals. (Though, Kagiyama with an upset win would be AMAZING.)

Women:
Gold - Valieva
Trusova if she hits the quads. Other than that, meh, could be anyone.
Hedricx

Pairs:
Gold - Sui & Han (Though, their programs suck this year. This is more or less a sentimental hope.)
Tarasova & Morozov to hold it together for once.

Dance:
Gold - Papadakis & Cizeron
Then Hubbell & Donohue and Sinitsina & Katsalapov in any order.

Dreams, right? If so—

Women

Not wishing anyone ill, but—a Russian lady withdraws, and is replaced by Tuktamysheva. Tuktamysheva medals!

Plan B—at least one non-Russian lady on the podium

Men

Zhou on podium, to shut up his haters

Clean White Crow

Pairs

Sui/Han take gold

Dance

Guignard/Fabbri on podium (and I am delighted to see others here name them as well!)

Team:
Gold — Russia
Silver — Japan
(it could happen — Japan has a lower ranked ice dance team but the US has women and pairs that may not score as high)
Bronze — USA

Men:
Gold — Hanyu threepeat
Silver — Kolyada (he skates up to his potential, with the White Crow shirt that everyone likes)
Bronze — Uno (stunning all season, puts it all together)

Women:
Gold — Valieva (gets rid of fussy purple dress though)
Silver — Tuktamysheva
Bronze — Young You (underrated)

Pairs:
Gold — Tarasova and Morozov (finally!)
Silver — Mishina and Galliamov
Bronze — Sui and Han

Dance:
Gold — Papadakis and Cizeron
Silver — Stepanova and Bukin (Katsalapov’s back + politics + S&B’s beautiful free dance = it could happen)
Bronze — Guignand Fabbri
