A bit of a dicey moment at the end of the combination lift cost them GOE (Edited to add - cost them levels on both portions as well), and may cost them a place in the standings. This was a better program than the rhythm dance, and the performance was more balanced between them. His movement does stand out as a step above the average dancer at their level.

At least then they don't have to "measure" to be sure they are within the requisite distance from the boards for that element (at least on one side of the ice)

These two doing Polovtsian Dances is entirely pointless. Halloween is over, they don't need to try for a Davis/White impersonation.

Pate/Bye - I love Polovtsian Dances so I'm pre-disposed to like this, but they seem a trifle slow for the music, at least on TV. A number of wobbles as well, but they're giving it their all, so good on them.

I'm still not feeling this program. I don't feel like they skate up to the music, and it seems like they're always chasing the timing rather than being able to get on top of the music.
