Saw this rsport.ria.ru news headline yesterday: "The transition of Khudaiberdieva and Bazin to Zhulin may be agreed on Monday"Khudaberdieva/Bazin left their coach.
To Zhulin? Zhuk? Kustarova?
God rest their souls. When Zhulin passes he will burn in hell.......with so much companyTo Zhulin. confirmed
Coach Lorenzo Magri announced today [March 29] that he is leaving the Young Goose Academy in Egna, Italy: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CqYJywIoqDO/
I assumed he is visiting Norway (and working with skaters there): https://www.instagram.com/p/Cq5i8aeot7s/Not a coaching change exactly but Lorenzo Magri moved to Norway
It could make sense actually, I just assumed he would move for some reason but will see! I'm curious to see if any of his students might follow him, especially KurakovaI assumed he is visiting Norway (and working with skaters there): https://www.instagram.com/p/Cq5i8aeot7s/
Isn't Russia getting a bit too chummy with Italy? Could that have anything to do with the move?It could make sense actually, I just assumed he would move for some reason but will see! I'm curious to see if any of his students might follow him, especially Kurakova
Maybe it´s possible he is looking for options and visited Stavanger/Norway to check out/trial/discussing a contract. What I found interesting about his visit to Norway was:I honestly have no idea. As a coach, I don't think it makes any sense. At least if he aims at training international students and compete at ISU comps which in the near future which is probably the case.
Anyway he is in Switerzland now so I think he really fooled me
ETA:Katia’s coach Lorenzo Magri ended his collaboration with Young Goose Academy. He plans new projects. Katia said: “The updates about my coaches is coming pretty soon. It’s hard topic. I don’t think so the time ready now to answer for these questions but I love all my coaches.”
Mone Chiba turned 18 today (May 1) and is "Going to LA for the first time in my life with overseas choreography and joining Kinoshita Academy": https://twitter.com/online_on_ice/status/1652882083629662208
Chiba is listed on the Kinoshita Skating Academy's website now: https://kinoshitaacademy.com/trainee/
She previously was coached by Soushi Tanaka in Sendai: http://www.isuresults.com/bios/isufs00110118.htm
Access to better drugs.Boikova/Kozlovski have announced on Instagram they have left Moskvina.
ETA: They are moving to Tutberidze.
One question: WHY?!
Putin and the Russian Federation is forcing them to - to try and improve Tuberidze reputation?Boikova/Kozlovski have announced on Instagram they have left Moskvina.

One question: WHY?!
I understand that, but they love St.Petersburg and they will need to move to Moscow. Plus T/M are still training there. For the leaving part, I don't think they were ever comfortable with Mishina/Galliamov joining their group, and Moskvina is getting older, which might another factor.
The Velikovs and I think Bezmaternykh is also in St. Pete'sWhat other Pairs coaches are working in St. Petersburg?

I think it's stupid because they were with Moskvina who is still the most creative and innovative pairs coach. That’s the main subject of this week’s The Skating Lesson chat, with Elena Bechke as guest. B/K wanted new perspectives, to follow up on this season’s improvements.

"Some skaters are following them and some are changing. It is pretty complicated now. Everyone is trying to figure out what to do. I don't even know what I am going to do. That is why I came here [Japan], to participate in some of the other camps and see which place is meant to be."
Interesting. I wonder if it's just the single skaters or if the ice dancers will move, too.The Young Goose Academy (where Lorenzo Magri used to coach) has relocated from the Wurth Arena in Egna, Italy to Milan - Gabriele Frangipani is based in the new rink now: https://www.instagram.com/p/Cr6fWE4I41G/

Switzerland’s Naoki Rossi is quoted as saying in a recent interview (link is posted in the Japanese news thread):
I think it's stupid because they were with Moskvina who is still the most creative and innovative pairs coach.
Never change a winning team.
I guess it depends on one's taste whether you like the programs or not.Is Moskvina really still considered the "most creative and innovative pairs coach" working today? Her LPs for M/G the past two seasons suck, IMO. The Elvis program was just bad. And what innovations have her teams introduced the past few years ?
