Kurakova: 3F-3T (turn out), 3Lo, 2A. Level 4 on spins and steps, except a Level 3 on the last spin. This is such a good program for her, I'm glad she went back to it.

Rough skate for Eva-Lotta. She started off with a nice 3f+2t and 2a but then she fell out of her combination spin and singled the 3z. The last 2 spins and her step sequence were L4 but you could see the disappointment and defeat when she lost that spin.

Back for Pezzetta. HUGE 3 lutz and then she could only get off a 2T on the back half, as per usual. Wonky landings. What I would not give to get this girl to someone who could help her figure out how to channel all that power properly.

Pesch was not bad - a nice change for a German woman. 2a, 3z+2t, and 3f. She did only get a L3 on her steps and the last spin so I'm not sure it will be enough for the TES mins. Nope. Must have been some << or < in there.

Ooooo... 2a then she doubled the Lz, barely got the T on the 3f+3t around - she's not looking invincible ahead of Worlds.

67.76 - TES was only 33.xx so, yeah, the judges probably took a look at that 3t.

Aoki - 3z+3lo, 2a, 3f, L4 on her spins and steps. This should get her the SP TES min. Not that she'll be going to Worlds but a nice way to finish off her season.

Schild - I still don't get the FFSG decision to send Schild to Euros and Serna to Worlds. Schild is clearly the stronger talent and skater at this point.

3z+3t, 3lo, 2a, L3 on the steps, L4 onnher spins. She still needs work on her PCS, but that should challenge Kaori for 2nd today in a fair world.

Well, that lift was sketchy - footwork from him was labored and her position wasn't great.

They have nice energy though.

Schaller/Mayr - she'll probably get a < on the SBS 3s, but she stood up and cleanly landed the throw 3s, so progress! They already have the Worlds mins but this performance should bump their SP TES min score up quite a bit - nope, 29.75

Kucianova/Bidar - just barely shy of the SP TES min for Worlds. Will they get it today???

2tw, SBS 3t, throw 3f - she pitched forward but held on for the landing. The look on his face in the lift! Sheer fear that it was gonna come down - only L1.

They actually have nice lines and match well with each other. L4 on their DS, SBS spins and steps.

ETA - he seems pretty miffed at himself in the KnC.

50.11 and they missed the TES too.

Crafoords - nice 3tw to open, throw 3lo - hand down from her, he stepped out of the SBS 2a - which is a win for him, lol. OMG - lift fail.

Good Lord, this first group is not bringing their best with the lifts.

They should count themselves lucky they already have the Worlds TES mins.

ETA - I predict that someday John Crafoord will wind up in @AngieNikodinovLove's harem.

I'm kind of glad I'm not watching with all these sketchy lifts. But I think I am going to miss the Italians. People are posting the women's SPs all over Twitter, so hopefully someone will do the same with pairs.

Nagaoka/Moriguchi - 2tw crashy, SBS 3lo, a successful lift!!!! Aborted throw 1s - and that will keep them from Worlds. Yikes.

They do have good potential but they need to learn how to compete internationally. Skating great domestically ain't gonna get them to any ISU Championships.

ETA - 51.98 - TES 26.17, so I guess now they can go to 4CCs next season unless the Euros/4CCs TES mins are raised, lol.
