U.S. Figure Skating announced today the schedule for the 2024 synchronized skating qualifying season, which will culminate at the 2024 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas Feb. 21-24, 2024.

The upcoming season will mark the first time the U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships will be held in Las Vegas, returning to Nevada for the second time after Reno hosted in 1988. The event was scheduled to take place in Las Vegas in 2021 before being canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The qualifying season begins in January with the first opportunities to advance to the U.S. Championships coming at the 2024 Eastern and Pacific Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships, which each take place Jan. 18-20.

The host of the Eastern Sectional Championships, Colonial FSC, previously hosted the Eastern Sectional Championships in 2019.

To continue growing synchronized skating and provide better opportunities, the Pacific Coast Sectional Championships will be held separate from the Midwest Sectional Championships for the first time since 2006.

The Pacific Coast Sectional will take place in Irvine, California, while The Midwestern Sectional will be held in Wichita, Kansas, from Jan. 24-28. Wichita FSC hosted the Midwestern & Pacific Coast Sectionals in 2020 and 2018.
