Good skate, and a nice recovery from yesterday. This program doesn't really do anything, or go anywhere. His experience, and skating skill does shine through.

90.27 = 1st Place
144.57 = 1st Place

This program doesn't work for me. There's something that isn't quite connecting, and their timing was slightly off the music. Silly thing, but his hair is distracting.

87.03 = 2nd Place
147.23 = 1st Place

They look more relaxed today. Good spacing and edge work. Position changes in lifts looking a bit effortful today.

F/F very nice unison on the twizzles, good engagement with the music. Error on final lift.

This time the error in the program came on an element, and it will cost them a bit more today. The program is well stylized, and they really do a great job expressing the music, and character.

91.82 = 1st Place
153.42 = 1st Place

Great skate. Very intricate program with a lot of detail - character step sequence had so many moments timed perfectly to the music. Not my favourite piece of music, but they performed the program very well.

92.92 = 1st Place
159.41 = 1st Place

How long do we have to wait for GP assignments?

This explains why they are in the final. The judges love them no matter what.
No, and you know better. You watched the JGPs. You saw their falls. They were also competing in the two weakest fields on the JGP after the injury WDs of Kudryavtseva/Karankevich, Hauer/Starr (both Istanbul) and Carhart/Horovyi (Budapest). Their total score today is in the same range as they scored at their JGPs with falls in the FD at both.

They have a lot of speed - that's about as much as a positive as I can up with. What's with the fringe on the costumes? It's very dated.

T/K steady lifts. Creating some visually interesting shapes and angles. Not the complexity of the Germans, but better glide and nice speed
