Wow I just saw the score come up! That's huge for Gracie. Easily gets the worlds TES minimums. She's actually eligible for 4CCs now (needs the worlds free minimum still).

Isabeau landed the 3lutz/3 loop looked good to me, 3flip, 2axel well done, little struggle on the flying sit, but beautiful, deep lovely edging. Spanish song. That’s all I know. 70.7?

Ziegler beautiful and fast, but jumps shaky, flipped out of 3lutz over rotated, 3loop/3loop attempt but don’t think second jump made it around, axel hung on, but love the program and her passion.

ETA: I see the protocols say this was a 3loop/3toe attempt (not loop on second jump). I feel like she was marked too low on components, but I guess the technical issues detracted from the performance.

I’m very excited for this evening’s FS. Barring any last-minute withdrawals, the top three are pretty much set…but in which order will they end up?

There’s a lot of space between #3 (Gold) and #4 (Jill Heiner) right now but Jill’s another one with exciting skating, as we saw at Nationals. I wouldn’t mind seeing her move up.

from the video I saw (fancam) it was due to her slowing down quite significantly due to issues with her flying sit spin.

Thanks for the explanation. It's interesting that both Isabeau and Lindsay chose slow and deliberate Spanish music pieces. Maybe not the best choice.
