This is a complete miss for me but also I don't like Elvis lol
It would be better if it was a catsuit. Using the belt to give it a skirt look just makes her proportions look funky. The costume is fun and playful, but something about the belt placement doesn't work. It's too low or something. @Karen-W probably could explain it.
I like Elvis and this is still a complete mess. The skating seems sloppy. The costume is weird. I know Tonya and Mark think this was fun Fun fun but I think it was sloppy, sloppy sloppy. This is a complete miss for me but also I don't like Elvis lol
Especially when you consider how good her SP is.I found the pockets of back and forth between jumps to really stand out in this program. It's almost the same layout year after year for her but the choreography just doesn't hold up in the rest of it to not keep the jumping emptiness from being glaring.
She's off the charts creative, but this is a total disappointment as a competitive program.
Lol at Tonia " ... for her."
Disappointed to see Schild ahead of Schizas. Judges may want to reconsider that one over the summer.
I just told Mr. thvu "We love her. She doesn't have the jumps, but we don't care. She skated to the soundtrack of The Joker as THE JOKER. This is a Josefin house."I found the pockets of back and forth between jumps to really stand out in this program. You're right - it's accentuating her hips - and she's not some slender stick - she has a stocky build similar to Kaori. I generally find her costumes don't really flatter her. It isn't just the belt placement with this one though - the extra-wide collar and the piping along her hollow (shoulders to armpits diagonal above the breasts) makes her look even boxier. The costume is fun and playful, but something about the belt placement doesn't work. It's too low or something. @Karen-W probably could explain it.
you need to put that on a plaqueI just told Mr. thvu "We love her. She doesn't have the jumps, but we don't care. She skated to the soundtrack of The Joker as THE JOKER. This is a Josefin house."
And thank God for that. Some of you were not brought up by an Elvis-adoring Baby Boomer mom and it shows.
Wrong. It absolutely does. Also, Elvis is King. He just is.Oh, Mark, I disagree with you so much. Her presentation should well be under Kurakova's as well. Just because you wear a Barbie Ninja outfit and skate to Elvis doesn't mean you get presentation points.
no i had to listen to the zydeco music hour every sunday on am radio and honestly a zydeco program would slaySome of you were not brought up by an Elvis-adoring Baby Boomer mom and it shows.
The lack of skin tone illusion fabric and the colour, get high marks from me.Olga's dress is kind of fabulous as well.
I was brought up on Beethoven. Some of you were not brought up by an Elvis-adoring Baby Boomer mom and it shows.
But what about the gloved sleeves? Surely that takes away some of the positive GOE.The lack of skin tone illusion fabric and the colour, get high marks from me.
