Of course it still needs a lot of work, but I love how close their hold is. Good extension and flow from the short clip. I am excited to see it fully fleshed out, though they've probably had very limited time to practice it as they've been so busy. Igor is one coach who actually trained teams to the world podium when the GW was an actual compulsory, so we'll see. As for the quote tweets, clearly some people don't understand what marking is
I hope you told them they have many enthusiastic fans!I chatted with Emi and Vadym last night at the Hershey SOI meet & greet. They were very nice and friendly, clearly happy to be on the tour. They said they are excited about their Bolero program and the choreo is challenging. I asked them how the GW was going (I hadn't seen the post above) and they said they've been learning the pattern, the fast beat is challenging, they've been practicing a bit on tour but the ice surface for SOI is smaller than standard size so they are only able to mark the pattern.
Emi said they are hesitant to practice it in front of the audience b/c people will think it looks bad b/c of the issues with the smaller surface. She may have seen those comments.
