Are we not getting a subforum for this? :fragile:

Also, I promise I will snark about Torgashev a little, live from the rink. :p

Litvintsev back in juniors?
Scerba over Belohradsky?

Pesendorfer over Mikutina. @alchemy void
Ryabova back to. AZE going for the junior crowns :D
No Feigin. (Levushkina)
Petrokina for home soil. (vs. Kiibus)
Tornaghi  As exptected ITA is sending here everywhere! (((Gutmann, Beccari )))

So most countries decided to separate world/junior worlds spot. Not so AZE and ITA (ladies), UKR.

OMG I'm so excited! So many skaters I can't wait to see! :cheer: Kagiyama, Sato, Samsonov, Ruiter, Petrokina, Ioffe's Cats + From Sarah with Love programs  , Tornaghi, both Japanese ladies, Kurakova, Lee, Valieva minus the leg lifts and shit choreo, Artemeva/Nazarychev, Panfilova's 2s, Bronsard/Bouaragia, d'Waddells and Makita/Gunara too, Netjaga/Gaidajenko, GEORGIA, Yoshida/Nishiyama hopefully with clean twizzles and no random splats, Golubtsova/Belobrov, all US teams in general...

The US men's team sounds very Russian.

So they did actually choose Petrokina, and Kiibus is focusing on senior Worlds! :cheer: I'm glad they both have big events because both have had a great season (well don't know much about Petrokina other than the two JGPs but she was great there!).

Not particularly excited about any one team in pairs (well, maybe Artemieva/Nazarychev) but I love the discipline just overall, so :cheer2: !

Dance is such an embarrasment of riches, I love like half of the teams. :swoon:

Tallinn is such a great city, can't wait to go! :cheer: So many fab cheap eats, great culture and museums... I'm hoping to make it at least to the Fotografiska and maybe 1-2 other museums as well. Huge ass airbnb is already booked and am about to book the ferry. WHEEEEEEEEE!

Also, a Georgian flag has been ordered and should be on its way in the mail. ;)

France pairs too, as I assume Hamon & Strekalin will be on the world team.

ETA - I really wish I was going again and even more so after Hanna’s post!

The men's event is going to be great and top 6 are a bit unpredictable at this point as there are more than 6 skaters who can contend for that final group, ladies is pretty predictable as to who will be in the final group and likely on the podium, pairs is all about the Russians, but dance is going to be another really mixed result between the voidy Georgians, the Russians, and at least one of the US teams--the three medalists could be any of them. But, apart from those likely to medal, there are some really good and interesting skaters from multiple countries this year. :cheer2:

As work never counts as an excuse for you I just say...hm...not having any earplugs! Sitting next to you during GEO FD might harm my hearing massively! 🙉😬
Wise move. :p Because had you mentioned work, I would've told you to come for the weekend. :p Also, quite true about the GEO FD.

Seriously though, you should be there. :wuzrobbed Come on, take Friday off and you'll get to see Panfilova's 2s (with potential step out) on Thursday night. :encore:Or if Thursday night is too much, Mozalev on the podium on Friday night. ;)

Yes! :cheer: I saw her really good free skate at the Nordics and was wondering if that was the first time I saw an Icelandic skater land several triples. Did she make the minimums there?

If it was not that I'm going to worlds two weeks later, I would come for the week-end. Tallin is such a beautiful city, my first Euros and I loved every moment. And I can't wait to see all the event (will be on pc, I can't go both to Tallin and Montreal in the same month).
My question, what happened to the schedule, men sp on Wwednesday? Is that the new trend? Can't we agree that ladies are on Wednesday morning? ....

Finally committed to the flights, so I will be there. Looking forward to it - I've been trying to get to a WJC almost every year since 2013, but family issues kept getting in the way. I've never been to Tallinn, either - closest was Riga for a JGP. Hope to see @Hanna there - is anybody else going?

Am also going :)
Will be there on Friday and Saturday

I love Tallinn and it's takes just few hours to get there from St Petersburg by car/bus, so :cheer:
so jealous, i checked out Tallinn when we were at Worlds in Finland, so pretty.

Much as I'm looking forward to the event, I hope that the draw works out so that I can skip a group or two at the beginning or end of the ladies. It is scheduled from 10:45 to 17:25 on Friday - 48 junior ladies and over 6 and a half hours. I don't think I can survive that (and it doesn't look like the arena is very close to much for a warm-up group break). Ladies is actually my least favourite discipline, although there are quite a few of the juniors that I'm looking forward to seeing.

Me. Cheering crazily to the Georgian ice dance couple with @Hanna. You can't miss us.
@Jeschke, come on and drag yourself to Tallin! I promise to buy you at least one beer!:40beers:
Aaah
Now it hurts even more my colleagues let me down! :drama::wuzrobbed

I’ll be there in spirit - not that this is any compensation for missing the real-life-experience of myself :D
