What else can I call this forum?

Advertising revenue has plummeted this week and I don’t really need that on top of not a lot else happening. Having the words ******** or ************ in titles is apparently effecting that according to my analytics specialists. Ad publishers do not want to advertise on sites where the word is very prolific.

So if you don’t mind I’m going to edit some thread titles and ask you what else I can call this forum?

I’ve called it something lame for now, but the word Health should hopefully make a positive change. I’ll wait till Sunday.

I’m seeing more interesting ads already. I have been seeing really boring ones about Stock Markets all week and now I’m seeing one about clearing out ear wax.

It is very important to have clear ear during a *********! (Or was that clean underwear?)

I am thinking about reorganizing my pinned thread too. I think one thread is a bit unwieldy. I think I"ll split it up by subject.

Actually, I speed read that email initially and yes it is. What can we call it?

👎🙅🏻‍♂Firstly, we have found that using words like '********' and '*********-19' in articles has had a negative effect on advertising spend. This is probably due to advertisers not wanting brands to be associated with the negativity surrounding the *****. As such, we would advise against using these words.”

@SHARPIE Question will words in embedded links matter? I just noticed someone posted some links without embedding them and the words were substituted so the links don't work. We can work around this for sure but just wondering the best way to do it.

ETA: okay just checked it substitutes in embedded links as well. People are going to need to get creative about links so folks can cut and paste and put the correct words in.

Oh......

Right, I’ll think of something. If it doesn’t change I’ll just revert, I doubt advertiser publishers have the usual budget anyway.

For now, folks can just cut and paste links and substitute the correct words. Its only going to impact a few links in the Beer Burden forum mostly.

Folks will actually need to NOT embed links so people can cut and paste.

After a further plummet C O R O N A will now be called the beer burden as suggested as well as it’s alternative name as well as the word p a n d e m i c.
I think you might have to also substitute C O V I D 19
Eta: I see you had already planned that but it’s still popping up. Maybe it’s when people don’t use a space before the number?
