There was an incident on the outerbelt in OH this past weekend when a Trump rally participant shot at a semi truck as unaffiliated people driving in other cars called 911 fearing for their lives. The rally people are defending him, apparently missing the point that there is an alternative to escalating a disagreement and endangering innocent people. How hard is it to pull off onto the shoulder, stop the car and call for assistance?
These rallies are already a distraction before the shooting starts with people yelling out the windows, honking, flashing lights etc. when the other drivers are supposed to be concentrating on driving 65 mph.

The "otherwise peaceful protest" where they knocked an iron gate down to get in the area?.......Also love how the trespassing charges against the trespassers were dropped.......

The gate was fine when the protesters went through it. The fact that the couple is being charged with tampering with evidence suggests to me that they were the ones who damaged the gate in it a lame attempt to bolster their case.

Also, the protesters were on the sidewalk and on the street, neither of which is private property, and therefore trespassing does not apply.

Well George Floyd’s murderer has been released on 1 million dollar bail. It will be interesting to know who posted the bail.

Funny how you're OK with rich white people illegally carrying guns and altering evidence of their misdeeds, but you're not OK with non-white people protesting. Racist.

Well then you must OK with alleged peaceful protesters threatening to take over someone's home and yelling at them about which room they would be taking over, eating in, sleeping in etc. and oh yes, threatening to kill their dog. Yes, that is a peaceful and a legit "protest".....You love to throw that word around, and you actually are the racist.

I'm not the one with different standards for white and non-white people.

Oh really?

Interesting how all the white liberal "act"ivists on here are only concerned with racism when it helps boost their parties political power. But when you point out the blatant racism and systemic oppression within their own districts, political party, and candidates all you hear (if anything) is embarrassing whitesplaining and mental gymnastics. Or they will just call you names in an effort to avoid debating the issue at all.

So don't be surprised. @overedge will call you names for stating your opinion--but be assured that she will simultaneously tolerate Kamala Harris jailing black men for marijuana use, will happily tolerate Ralph Northam (or if she's Canadian, Justin Trudeau) wearing black face, or the Democratic party systematically raping every single black majority district it has run since 1950. She will NEVER use her so-called "progressive voice" to speak out these things. Why should she when it doesn't help her white male savior Joe Biden get elected? ;)

Substantively helping the black community doesn't seem to be "the point" for these people--the relief of being "on the right side of history" is. And they will do literally anything to delude themselves that they are...facts and history be damned.

In all honestly there won't be any progress in this country until the black and hispanic communities fully recognize white liberals as the scummy, selfish, fake allies that they are. Modern white progressives are pretty much just modern slave owners with progressive bumper stickers. If you've ever witnessed a white liberal feverishly trying to debate a black or hispanic conservative, you will see just how quickly these people resort to racism and dehumanizing their opposition...they really can't seem to keep their slave owner mentality in check.

:D

You have made a grand total of 87 posts. @overedge has made over 28,000 posts. You haven't been here long enough to know the ideas and political inclinations of anyone on the board.

Particularly :D at the 'her while male savior'.

@overedge is Canadian, which you don't know, so Biden is not her anything.

Apologies for my presumption here, @overedge. But you don't strike me as the damsel-in-distress type to seek out white male saviors.

And don't you have anything better to do with your time, @toshi Berra? FSU is a community that has been around for about 20 years, and was preceded by another forum. Many of us have been here all that time. A lot of us have met each other skating competitions. Good friendships IRL have been formed as a result of this board.

Like any community, FSU has its own etiquette. Newbies often introduce themselves and feel their way around the forum before they start posting. Party crashing isn't that common here.

You'll never become a respected member of this community, that I can say for sure. Though probably you don't want to be.

I've been here for years. I love how you take issue with etiquette/spelling etc...yet continue to ignore your party's vile abuse of the black community. Typical. White. Liberal.

Then you should know that @Japanfan is Canadian which makes your post even more ridiculous than usual.
 Nice one.

I always love how people who tend to be Trump loving supporters and want to "give it to the leftie scumbags" always point the finger at those they don't agree with and use the word "yours". As if the person they are finger pointing at actually own the group they are condemning. Such a simplistic way of looking at things. And definitely trying to be confrontational because they actually don't know how to have a respectful intelligent discussion.

Now lays in wait for the counterattack like a panther in the night :cat:

The Washington Post has begun a series examining how systemic racism affected George Floyd's life.

The first article is an overview of his life. (Later articles will look at phases of his life in more detail.) His great-great-grandfather was liberated from slavery in North Carolina in the 1860s. His family were sharecroppers in NC for a century until George's mom, a single mother, moved to a segregated area of Houston, TX, in the 1970s. That's where Floyd grew up.

11 Shot, 1 Killed Today in Democrat Chicago

But a cop didn't cause it, so rest easy white liberals!! Nothing worth protesting or even mourning.
What are you trying to prove posting a link to that article? It is a list of shootings in Chicago. No mention of race or otherwise. Seriously you need to do a better job than that.

And it seems to me that it is gun problem, not a BLM problem. So what do you think people should be out there protesting about?

Really you are pulling stuff out of your butt to try and make this a "those radical lefties" issue.

WaPo finds most BLM protests peaceful and that a lot of the violence that happened was against BML protesters. So surprised. (Not)

In short, our data suggest that 96.3 percent of events involved no property damage or police injuries, and in 97.7 percent of events, no injuries were reported among participants, bystanders or police.

From the article.

Also the article contained a link to this terrible planned assault by police by protesters in the Bronx:

The Portland rioters are still at it; nightly, senseless destruction of city property.

For the last four years, Portand has been courting the hopes of bringing a professional baseball team to the city. Everything seemed to be a "go" but earlier this week, the baseball commissioner said he would not approve a franchise in such a "crime-ridden city".

 From just yesterday in SF...looks like MadMadame's antifa buddies are at it again. What do you and your ilk find so threatening about free speech? Organizer Philip Anderson (a black man) man got his teeth punched out for daring to express his opinion--looks like another victory for the RESISTANCE!

The Department of Justice on Friday charged a self-described member of a far-right organization, the Boogaloo Bois, with one count of participating in a riot. Ivan Harrison Hunter, 26, traveled from Texas to Minneapolis during civil unrest following the death of George Floyd, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Minnesota.

Federal investigators said they reviewed video from May 28 that showed Hunter discharging "13 rounds from an AK-47 style semi-automatic rifle into the Minneapolis Police Department's Third Precinct building," while people were believed to be inside the building. The department said law enforcement discovered shell cases consistent with an AK-47 style rifle outside the police department.

But tell us more about Antifa.

Seattle, Portland, New York sue over Trump’s ‘anarchy’ label

I also read this article a few weeks ago about the transit grant referenced in the above article.

Portland, Seattle, & New York are currently not allowed to apply for $10 million grants for their public transportation systems to fight ********* 19.
