If they stick around, Worlds in 2 years for sure. What would happen in Finland it´s hard to tell. I mean JL has been retired for a while and we don´t know how fast he will up to shape. I guess it depends on when he started to get in shape, but Jackie Wong seem to have known this for a while, so he might have been training for a while. If he came fresh out of a other partnership I would have thought they have a easier path, but I guess we have to wait and see how much time he needs.

However - it wasn´t a issue for Gui though. So who knows.

The intent is not really cute nicknames, its shortcuts that are still recognizable. So the first three letters of the woman's name, first three letters of the man's name, because initials aren't recognizable. ChoBat rather than C&B for instance.

Sometimes people get creative with them (e.g., MiNiki for Hase/Volodin). But whatever the majority wants is fine.

Really people can use whatever name tickles them or otherwise works for them. It comes out in the wash when people know who they are talking about, or don't. If you want to be understood and people keep asking who you are talking about, your nickname probably won't catch on. If it works, it will.

The safe bet if you want people to understand your posts is the three letter rule, but there's nothing mandatory here!

I was thinking that LaBa had a distinctly medical feel to it but I wasn’t sure how. Glad to know I wasn’t far off lol.

Bakerie is my favourite followed by LaLuc. Both are fun to type and easily recognizable.
