Tony Awards Nominations 2026: The Complete List

Nominations for the 79th Tony Awards were announced on Tuesday. Here’s who made the list.

Adolescence (Netflix) has now swept all the major television awards.

The Studio won Best International Programme.

John Lithgow so deserves a Tony. We saw Giant yesterday on Broadway and he was amazing.

The 79th Annual Tony Awards will be tonight from Radio City Music Hall. It will be airing in the on CBS starting at 8pm ET. P!nk will be the host and the original cast of The Book of Mormon is expected to perform.

And I don't have any streaming service right now. Do I dare pay for Sling for one day? The Tony's are the best award show imho. But for me tonight is about two great and undervalued (imho) actresses worth their weight in platinum: Lesley Manville and Laurie Metcalf. If they don't win the night is a bust for me.

It's apparently a toss up race between Lithgow and Nathan Lane for "Death of a Salesman."

And I don't have any streaming service right now. Do I dare pay for Sling for one day? The Tony's are the best award show imho. But for me tonight is about two great and undervalued (imho) actresses worth their weight in platinum: Lesley Manville and Laurie Metcalf. If they don't win the night is a bust for me.

Metcalf is one of the guaranteed wins of the night. Manville was the early leader for Best leading actress in a play and will probably win based on the prognosticators, but it's a closer race.

I haven't been up to NYC to see it, but I read it. Such a good play. I hear they're planning to bring it to movie theaters later this year, and I can't wait to see it.

I'd suggest booking your ticket in advance, it's been at/near capacity since opening.

I have to admit, despite the cast I absolutely despise "Death of a Salesman."
