I felt bad for the kid on exile island, he tried so hard to get that idol. And I’ve taken an instant dislike to Brody for some reason. Everyone else is pretty interchangeable at this point.

I don't know their names yet but is Brody the "Aggressive Alpha Male"? Because I totally had an instant dislike of him. Unfortunately, he'll be around awhile because of strength.

It's funny that the Lady with the Short Hair, I pegged her as 'management consultant' before they even told us their professions. That's kind of the same thing as 'crisis management' in my book. I like her.

Poor Exile Guy and chopping that tree. I felt bad for him and his hands getting all beat up like that. But aren't you supposed to go at a tree from one side and then when you get a chunk out of it like he did, you go at it from the other side instead of just pounding away at the one side?

I have got one name down though ... Devin ..... I'm onboard!! When he dropped that line about 'I love a big dumb boy' or whatever he said .... He's my frontrunner.

The rest of them were boring. I do like the fact that there are only 2 Teams now, and they better keep it that way. I assume Exile Guy will go on the voted out team now.

So Rob is a dumbass. How does this idiot not know you cannot vote for yourself? I mean he seemed genuinely shocked when the Producer said 'you can't vote for yourself'. And what, exactly, was his plan if he did think he could vote for himself? Even if you would be allowed to vote for yourself, he still would not have been voted out even if he gave his Idol to Eric. I just don't get what his "plan" was at all. I won't be surprised to see him throw challenges to make his team lose and try to get them to vote him out.

And no, I still do not like Brady at all, but damn! He literally cut the tip of his thumb off???? Is that what happened??? How can they even keep that wound closed and clean enough to not get infected with just some bandages with all the water and dirt/sand and gunk they gotta deal with on those challenges?!

First, WTF with Rob. Full disclosure - I was getting a bed bath during the last 1/2 hour, so I couldn't really follow what was happening. I hated Rob throughout the episode for being a big crybaby when they lost. He was throwing blame around and that is not cool. Then I saw he voted for himself and I wondered if that was some sort of tricky plan. Was he really that stupid? Why did he do that? I couldn't hear.

I was hoping Brady would've been medi-vac'd. I don't like the guy.
My fave so far is Jelly. She's getting a lot of screen time...I hope that is not a bad sign

Having a hard time getting into this season so far--probably because Big Brother is still going on. Maybe next week, I will be magically engaged. There are some people I like so far, not that I remember any of their names.

They must have stitched up Brady's thumb. I don't know how else they could have stopped the bleeding with such a big chunk of his finger missing. I wish they didn't show it to us, it made me feel sick!

Brady is a jerk and Rob is an idiot. Most of the others are still interchangeable at this point. Good for Jelly to find an idol, but I sure wouldn’t have told anyone about it yet. We’ll see if Patt stays loyal to her. I like Irish guy, mostly for his voice!

Smart. For all these shows my plan is to wait and binge a few episodes in order to remember who is who. then I see a commercial and watch them live and cant keep track of everyone. Binging is better.

I hate when people just up and quit. How can you go thru all the rounds of applying for this show, actually get cast, and then just quit. This show has been on for 25 fecking years, so I don't buy the 'I didn't know how hard it would be' crap. We ALL know! It's brutal. I bet the 1st alternate on the cut list is pissed right now.

I LOVE the way the producers edited the show so that we all could see he was clearly faking an injury hoping to get medical to pull him and how there was no reason for it to happen so that everyone knows he quit, including all his Tribe seeing right through that fake injury. Funny how that "limp" practically disappeared when he walked away from his teammates. Jeff looked furious. I hope he doesn't get asked to the reunion show and if he does that Jeff completely ignores him.

That was funny when that boat pulled out and dude was like 'welp, guess I gotta stay now'. But what a dumb move not trying to find that Advantage first. Not sure if he could have pulled off getting it without people drifting down to the beach once they heard the boat come in since it seemed so difficult to find it, but at least take a look around first.

The advantage hidden in the oar was so much harder to get than the one in the ladle. That was not exactly fair, but if Carter was going to stay on that tribe then he didn't need to get it right away. He could have gone for it the next day, but that would require not leaving the note on top of your bag for anyone to see! The edit was a little confusing because they made it seem like he had decided to stay but them showed him accidentally missing the boat and regretting it, so I guess he was planning to go back to his original tribe. But swapping to the new tribe clearly put him in a better position in the game, so I don't know what he was actually thinking.

I like seeing the underdogs successfully remove a more dominant player so this episode was satisfying (along with losing the idiot Rob). He was obviously full of it, and quitting the game is never a good look. I’d love if Brady were next to go. Liking Devin and Lewis, still sorting the others out
