Plenty of us citizens were sad and disappointed for US soccer team. I don't like cheaters - the team itself did not cheat, it was interfering by a high ranking government official - the highest one - that cheated or tried to influence outcome.

I had moved on, until someone accused the entirety of the US of endorsing the awful behavior. I voiced my displeasure. I Don't NEED A NEW Circle of friends.

The thought has crossed my mind though.... since it's vanishingly unlikely Trump knew who Kane was and reached out to him... it was likely a diplomacy effort covertly organised by the British government (I am fully serious).
It's a tried and tested method with Trump - see Usyk, who's an absolute beacon of moral principles, sacrificing his dignity to sweaten him to the Ukrainian cause a few weeks ago.


There is no way to people s a far ss each other as Kane and Trump get to play golf without a backstory.
