Thanks, @kwanfan1818!

In case anyone was wondering which lady is missing... Dabin Choi (KOR) was crossed out of the ladies' entries grid last Friday.

ETA: She is #17 in the current WS so Sakamoto benefits from her not bumping her into the first group of SP.

Right now, Liam Firus is in for Men, and T/T are out for Dance.

Men:
Group 1:
  • Roman SADOVSKY (CAN)-WS 57
  • Liam FIRUS (CAN)-WS 53 (replaces Hendrickx)
  • Ross MINER (USA)-WS 44
  • Takahito MURA (JPN)-WS 33
  • Kevin REYNOLDS (CAN)-WS 28
  • Han YAN (CHN)-WS 23
Group 2:
  • Sergei VORONOV (RUS)-WS 21 (moved)
  • Daniel SAMOHIN (ISR)-WS 17
  • Maxim KOVTUN (RUS)-WS 16
  • Adam RIPPON (USA)-WS 10
  • Nathan CHEN (USA)-WS 7
  • Boyang JIN (CHN)-WS 5
In Dance, Sinitsina/Katsalapov move to start Group 2. Even if there's a last minute replacement, there's no one above them in WS on the alternate list.

Is Dabin injured? I hope not.
I hope not also, though I think she has likely been trying to come back from an injury since the summer. She withdrew from the Asian Open with a foot problem related to boot issues this August and then was only doing a triple-double combination early in the season. Since then, she hasn't really gotten her triple lutz triple toe combo back.

The second Korean Ranking Competition is being held Dec. 1-3rd. Everyone has to compete there in order to qualify for the Olympics, healthy or not. So it's possible she's saving her body & energy for that event. (Cha also).
