Nathan performed his SP in Great Park Ice's holiday show (landed opening 4Lz!)
Just saw that Hurd Video uploaded his performance to their YT channel on Dec. 16: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9HOrIUxZXPI

ETA:

30-second clip of Nathan talking about the U.S. Championships during USFS' 100th Anniversary special on NBC this past Sunday (Lipinski/Weir chose Nathan's 2017 Nationals free skate for the show; Peacock Premium subscribers can watch on demand now): https://twitter.com/USFigureSkating/status/1343240225825280001

Not sure if this has been posted yet, here or elsewhere - Nathan will be taking part in the presidential inauguration this week, as part of the virtual parade:
Other advertised participants include comedian Jon Stewart; musical acts New Radicals, Earth Wind & Fire, Nile Rodgers, Kathy Sledge and Andra Day; and Olympic athletes Nathan Chen, Allyson Felix and Katie Ledecky.

Number-crunching article by Phil Hersh (Jan. 21):
Excerpt:
Yet Chen does not back away from them [quads], no matter the competition. He has twice attempted six in a free skate (with five of six clean the first time, at the 2018 Olympics, were he won the free but finished fifth overall, his last defeat; and four of six in the second, at the 2018 World Championships).
He has done two quads in all but one of the short programs during the win streak. In the 12 free skates, he has done six quads once, five twice, four five times and three the other four.
“You know me: I like to always challenge myself and one-up myself after every competition,” Chen said of his decision to try five in the free skate at the 2021 national meet.
... [Kurt] Browning said, “but what Nathan has done over a longer period of time in a competitive environment with quads is… I don’t want to say ‘unbelievable,’ but with a wink I will say, ‘highly unrealistic.’”
Salt Lake Tribune article by Julie Jag (Jan. 25):
Chen is flying high right now, and he doesn’t plan on letting anyone or anything bring him down.
“I still would love to improve and be better. But truthfully, you know, I’m really happy with where I am and what I’ve already done,” he said. “So whether or not I get that title at the Olympics is not going to define me as a person.”

Just taking a moment to say that I love Nathan's ambition this year despite YKW - SP layout of 4Z, 3A and 4F-3T upgrading from 4T-3T.

I love the LP layout too: Maybe it's too much but I'd love to see a 4L where the 3Z is ... That would be epic especially if he could do it in an Olympic year.

Nathan's latest sponsorship:
"Nathan is a great example of the guiding principle that with ambition and hard work, dreams do come true," said Katie Ledecky, five-time Olympic gold medalist and Team Panasonic ambassador. "As an elite athlete and even more remarkable individual, he's a leader not only in his sport but in the community and I'm delighted to have him join us in inspiring youth to pursue their dreams."

Didn't want to put this in and of the World's discussions - I think it's pretty natural for Nathan to be cautious about health concerns. Nathan has a history of picking up illnesses around competition time. From the time he was a junior, there have been several Nationals where Nathan has been sick or just recovering from an illness. Even at the Olympics, Nathan got very ill immediately after the mens competition was over. I'm glad he is aware of his own health and is taking all the realistic precautions he can.

I was not up early enough to watch it on DVR this AM (I stayed up late last night), But I will tell you that I could not sleep in because I was checking the PBP. I am so delighted that Nathan nailed that program! It looks like the men generally were a lot easier on the eyes than the ladies performance-wise (?)

I follow the PBP on Twitter but should revert back to FS boards. Wow. It is my first time dealing w/ the Fanyu up close and they get pretty nasty in protecting their deity, don't they?
