No words are enough. Today our hearts are broken, our sweet Josh was taken away from us too soon. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Our world lost an angel, Rest In Peace sweet sweet Josh. Soto competed in Junior ice dance this season with Mila Guberman (13th in the qualifying competition in Blaine, MN last month) and they were 7th in Intermediate at the inaugural U.S. Ice Dance Final in November 2019.

I assume it's okay to post the cause of death? From news reports, it was from a shooting in North Philadelphia. 4:00 in the afternoon on Saturday. Googling the name brings it up. So sad. I clearly remember watching his skate in Blaine.

He says he didn't start skating until he was 12 years old which is late even for a male skater.

The news report I saw said there had been an arrest, but nothing more. I know his family and friends would far prefer to have him back, but I hope there is some justice achieved.

Justice they may receive, but it does not mitigate what happened. Now, if we had a punishment that fit the crime, or courts who do not release criminals early, we might be on to something.
