Folini might turn out to be the new incarnation of Mischa Ge, but jumps were not with him today. Step-out on combo, a pop, even 2A at the end was a bit wonky.
Potentially voids central, though.

Phan was on fire. The program is a bit retro, but all jumps clean, a gorgeous Rippon Lutz and a good 3A, and skating skills to compete with Seniors. Great score, too (76.09)

Should have checked the start times more closely as I just got up in time for a Zamboni break. Hahaha. Anyway, went back and watched Phan and he was amazing. Great skate for him!

Junior Men are bringing it!
Ignatov is very pleasant. Generally, I really like Rukavitsin skaters, though they often lack stamina. Jumps clean, 3A beautiful. 72+
Sumoto- it's a VERY serious rendition of "Singing in the Rain", but overall excellent. Good 3A, jumps clean (slight step out in 3Lz), good spins, good speed, good SS. Now he needs to study Javi's presentation for charm, and the program will be the whole package:). 73+
Danielian, RUS, just 13. First time I see him.
OMG, what a wonderful boy. The poise and SS are wonderful for his age. 3A not clean, but there; fall from combo.
But good spins, good sense of drama, good posture. Beautiful hands. Color me impressed.
In looks, he reminds me of Armin Mahbanoozadeh.

Shimada is with Lambiel now.
Mixed feelings. 2A. Ambitious program. Very good skills, but looked disjointed to me somehow. Need to see the program again.
Krasnozhon- great skate. Perfect jumps. SS not as smooth as Phan's, but he looked very strong, and presented well.
80.26. 45 technical. Wow.

Basar Oktar- BRAVO! Beautiful presentation, beautiful jumps, spot on.
How I wish I could see him at the Olympics. Go Turkish skater. Up there with the best.

By chacking L/P's marks and the warmup, I got my shower in before Walsh/Michaud's skate. I'm getting good at this, timing getting ready for work with skating :D

Are Walsh/Michaud nearly the same height? Maybe a few inches difference.

This music feels very LOUD and kind of obnoxious. Maybe it's just that I haven't had my coffee yet.

Great presentation from her especially.

Yes, Evelyn is almost as tall as Trennt. Shame about the fall on the throw triple loop. I don't care for either of their programs this season

Tarakanova

3f-3t
3z rippon
2a tano

She has an expressive face and good edge quality, but everything between the head and the ankles needs a lot of work on posture, line, carriage, et. al.

Young You (KOR)

She created a lot of buzz a while back in KOR. This is her JGP debut.

3f-1t
3z, possibly a flutz there
2a

Needs to work on her basics. Nice quick rotation in her jumps.

in bright, tie-dyed dress! I was excited to find out what her music would be, but it seems like generic classical. The dress is anything, but generic, however. :D

3s-2l, I think, was too busy writing about her dress
3z fall, probably not all the way around
2a tano

Nguyen (USA)

3f-3t, cautious going into flip, fell on toe
3z flutz and a little slow getting the free leg out on landing
2a

Not her day.
