Lajoie/Lagha v. Polishchuk/Vakhnov v. Lewis/Bye :watch:

I feel like a terrible skating fan because I don't know who Guliakova is! There's too many Russian wonderbabes (though what a great problem for Russia to have!) :drama:

Guliakova has posted link with her triple axel a while ago, so you may soon know who she is, if she decides to risk it to add it into her program.

Korea is not using their spots here in men or dance; 2 of their ladies were added on August 3:
Su Been JEON
Eun Bi KO

Also off the entries list are Micah TANG (TPE) in men (as of today Aug. 8) and Ching Ting SU was added/replaced Xin Yi LOKE in ladies for Singapore on Aug. 3.

The coverage two years ago was brilliant. The coverage last year was full of videos in which the sound didn't play in time with the programs, unfortunately.
Ah, I almost always watch the live broadcast and that had no issues. At least that I can remember.

It was better if you were able to watch live, but most of the events are in Europe so watching them live doesn't work here. (Either sleep or work gets in the way). I did try to watch the Russian dance event live, but it wasn't working at all and the pieces that were recovered never played correctly. You still cannot watch Carreira & Ponomarenko's short dance on time with the music. I don't understand why--if the stream played correctly for some people while it was live--the errors throughout the recordings could not be fixed.

We were spoiled the season before. Crossing my fingers that the sound issues will be corrected this year. Here is what a large chunk of last season's JGP was like if you couldn't watch it live:

Bad or good livestream, I don`t care. The weather is getting worse, I have been rewatching the Latin Short Dances from the 2011/2012 season and I am ready to :drama::wuzrobbed:yikes::inavoid:over my fave skaters. Let`s go! :cheer2:

Love the video!! Can't wait for season to start!
Same! Challenger series less than a month away!

I'm really looking forward to see how Lajoie/Lagha do on the GP circuit - they can set themselves up for a JGPF slot and if they keep improving like the past year, close to a JW medal.

Are schedules posted yet? So, I can start doing the math about if I can watch? If I can't watch live, I just note the results and move on. Watching on video just isn't the same.

Ok. Thanks. Looks like I'll be skipping most of this event. Oh, well. On to Europe!

I love the junior grand prix regardless of schedule. I watch live when I can and it's easy to find your favourite skater's program on youtube to watch at your leisure unspoiled.

Thanks Sylvia! FS it is! I love the JGP as well and since most of it is in Europe, I can usually watch the majority.

Thanks sylvia :)

I love the JGP too and the coverage has been great the last few years. I watch the YT videos of individual skates if I can't watch live. But nothing beats watching the competition as it happens...I am certainly not patient enough to avoid looking at results :drama:
