What is with these politicians? We have the same thing going on in Australia with one politician texting a sex worker for 2 hours while sitting in Parliament in NSW. Yet these are the people that moralise about everyone else.

Gaetzbag’s troubles are mounting
"Information that may connect Gaetz to a fake ID scheme at the center of the case against that second Florida politician, Joel Greenberg, was presented to federal investigators in a meeting early last year, according to two other people familiar with the matter," CNN reported. "In the meeting, which has not been previously reported, a witness provided evidence linking Gaetz to Greenberg, the former tax collector in Seminole County, Florida, who was arrested last year on charges that include sex trafficking of a minor and fabricating fake IDs."

Congresspeople are saying he is a twisted pervert. So why is there no expulsion vote yet?

There are thousands of people who could replace him. He has no value and it’s time for him to go today.

Working on it.

Pelosi: Remove Rep. Gaetz From Committee if Claims Are True

In the British Parliament, if an M.P. were under a criminal nvestigation, the standard procedure would be to withdraw the whip, which is to say to suspend the Member from the parliamentary party, and then expel him from the party if the charges were proved true. The American solution, at least as suggested by Nancy Pelosi and Kevin McCarthy, is to let the Representative continue as an active member of committees only after the investigation is complete. It seems to me that the British have the better approach.

Allen is going to flip (?)
If this was the case, that would be the news.

Someone's certainly working on it though.

"The NY Attorney General has gathered data on the personal finances of Trump’s longtime CFO. The Manhattan DA already has. Raises legal pressure on the man who knows Trump’s finances best."

And Trump, being Trump, isn't exactly making the prospect unappealing:

"Donald Trump said his CFO Allen Weisselberg was the ultimate decision-maker when valuing his properties. But a review of past depositions + interviews shows Trump was very involved. A case could turn on whether prosecutors can get the CFO to cooperate."

(There are links to articles in both twitter posts above).

So now Gaetz is alleged to have done ecstasy with these females (women? girls?) and paid them using Cash App and Apple Pay? I just can't.

And then there's this thought:
It certainly explains why he was talking about not retiring the morning of the day the story broke. He knew what was coming.
Now, is McConnell in trouble, too, or did he simply propose the bill that would all but guarantee a Republican successor just in case?

McConnell getting Kentucky to pass a “governor must appoint a replacement of a senator who dies or resigns” is a just in case move but all democrats and republicans support those bills anyway

He said he wanted to retire in the next couple of years but didn't want to unless he could be assured he would be replaced by a Republican

This is why DC prosecutors not indicting Trump months ago was a mistake. Trump needs to be indicted for this

We lost one too after he was blackmailed by a lady on the dating sites and was forced to admit it. Married etc. There is likely a lot more that happens that we’ll never hear about.
