I read just a little of the opening of the indictment. This guy, Ionov, worked to push secessionist movements (separatist groups) in Florida & California. Makes me wonder who the blank is involved in the one in Texas & the Greater Idaho movement in Eastern Oregon. He recruited people from political groups in the U.S., Ukraine, Spain, the UK, Ireland, etc. to attend conferences in Russia with the purpose of encouraging separatist movements in those countries. (That rings a few bells with regards to some Congress members who had unexplained visits to Russia, no?)


"As alleged in the indictment, from at least December 2014 until March 2022, Aleksandr Viktorovich Ionov, a resident of Moscow, together with at least three Russian officials, engaged in a years-long foreign malign influence campaign targeting the United States. Ionov is the founder and president of the Anti-Globalization Movement of Russia (AGMR), an organization headquartered in Moscow and funded by the Russian government. Ionov utilized AGMR to carry out Russia’s influence campaign.

"According to the indictment, Ionov — working under the supervision of the FSB and with the Russian government’s support — recruited political groups within the United States, including U.S. Political Group 1 in Florida, U.S. Political Group 2 in Georgia, and U.S. Political Group 3 in California, and exercised direction or control over them on behalf of the FSB. Specifically, Ionov provided financial support to these groups, directed them to publish pro-Russian propaganda, coordinated and funded direct action by these groups within the United States intended to further Russian interests, and coordinated coverage of this activity in Russian media outlets. Ionov also relayed detailed information about this influence campaign to three FSB officials."

Turns out he pushed Texas secessionist movements too. There's also a link to a PDF with an entire chapter about Russian influence on separatist groups in various states/organizations, including a "confederate" group in the South and groups in Virginia, Wisconsin, etc.

"Alexander Ionov, the Russian national who spent years organizing Texas secessionists' trips to Moscow, has been sanctioned by the U.S.

Ionov's "Anti-Globalization Movement of Russia," which bankrolled the Texas and California secessionists' travels in Russia, has also been officially sanctioned. This was the main group that used Kremlin funding to organize Western separatist movement

Ionov is a "FSB co-optee" who "promulgate[d] the Kremlin's disinformation and malign influence agenda," per Treasury. Ionov has also been involved in identifying certain candidates worth supporting in U.S. elections.

This is new: Russia's links to the @YesCalifornia California secession group continued through at least 2018, funding protests in Sacramento. Ionov wrote "that FSB OFFICER 1 had asked for 'turmoil' and 'there you go.'"


"One last thought: This is the first confirmation that the FSB itself was directly involved in stoking American secessionist movements over the past few years."

There’s a fix for that. Congress could pass a law that states any former Federal Gov’t Officeholders who have taxpayer funded security shall forfeit that security if found guilty of crime(s).
ETA: And shall forfeit any pension or other benefits.

"A former Trump campaign staffer asked a judge this week to hold Steve Bannon in civil contempt for allegedly failing to comply with a subpoena seeking his testimony in her ongoing sexual discrimination lawsuit against former President Donald Trump' 2016 campaign.

In filings in D.C. Superior Court, Jessica Denson says she was hired in September 2016 as a national phone bank administrator on Trump’s first presidential campaign. She was then elevated to Hispanic outreach director by Bannon, who took over as campaign CEO that August. But her continued rise through the ranks – and a spot on the transition team allegedly promised to her by Bannon – was cut short, she claims, by a campaign of sexual discrimination and bullying by a supervisor.

Denson filed a lawsuit in New York in 2018 seeking millions of dollars of damages from the Trump campaign. She also brought a class-action suit in federal court seeking to invalidate the non-disparagement clauses required by all Trump campaign staffers. Last year, a federal judge ruled those NDAs were invalid and unenforceable.

In November, attorneys for the law firm representing Denson in the New York case, Bowles & Johnson, filed a subpoena in D.C. Superior Court seeking documents and testimony from Bannon. The subpoena, issued on Nov. 11, required Bannon to appear for a deposition in January. According to an affidavit filed in December, attempts to serve Bannon with the subpoena at his D.C. home on Nov. 18, Nov. 23 and Dec. 3 were all unsuccessful. On Dec. 4, according to the affidavit, Bannon’s attorney Robert Costello contacted the process server and asked if the papers could be emailed to him. According to attorney David Bowles, Costello informed him via email he wasn’t authorized to accept service on Bannon’s behalf. Since then, Bowles said, they’ve had no contact from either Bannon or Costello."

Bannon thinks he is accountable to no-one. Totally arrogant. Definitely needs some jail time.

Denson appears on the Meidas Touch podcast commenting on the Jan 6 hearings. She has a lot of guts standing up to Trump and his cronies.

I believe Ivana died from a fall at her home the week before Trump and kids were to depose about tax stuff?
I never said anything, nor read anything, but wondered:

If anyone witnessed the fall
What type of fall - head injury, neck or spine injury, etc
Who discovered her
Who else was in the house

I never saw anything about the funeral or.celebration of life other than who was there and what they wore.

Now buried on Trump.golf course property. Doesn't it seem all too strange?

I never read anything about the answers to most of those questions, except that she apparently died of internal injuries - - ie either spine or internal bleeding.

What I want to know is if she agreed to this golf course burial thing. Was that in her will? Did one of her odious children come up with the plan? Like, "this will be a family plot!" type of thing, or what? You'd think Ivana would be the first person to realize to never agree to any Trump plan whatsoever. I don't believe in an afterlife, but I do hope she haunts the **** out of that golf course. What a dismal resting place.

When I first saw the picture of this grave at the golf course, I really thought it would be debunked.

It's hard for me to believe that Ivana would have put or left her ex-husband in charge of her burial/end-of-life plans.

Also makes me wonder if she might have been cremated & had her ashes spread, but that they might have buried some in this plot for exactly the tax purposes named above.

Bizarre.

Some people on Twitter have posted recent photos of Ivana out in public, always with an aide to help her walk, and pointed out that she had an elevator in her apartment to move her between floors.

People do irrational things and don't always have the best judgment of their capabilities, but would someone with mobility problems try to walk alone down a spiral staircase while holding a cup of coffee?

There's questions for sure.

I had an uncle who died in a similar way. He fell once down the stairs and broke his arm. The second fall happened because he couldn’t hold on to the rail. the 2nd fall was fatal. Sometimes seniors can be so stubborn! Had a client die once because he refuse dialysis. He didn’t trust doctors.

I think Trump burying her on his golf course is one thing (and a very, very tasteless thing at that).

The other thing is the law and that it does exist in the first place. I think it's time to change it, either you're a golf course (or whatever else commercial space) or you're a cemetery but you should not be allowed to call yourself a cemetery while doing business as a commercial space. I'm guessing he needed some sort of zoning permission or something along those lines and that would be for a golf course, so he should be required to change it or not be considered a cemetery.
Also, one person should not automatically make it a cemetery, the limit should be 10 or 20 and family members should be excluded.

As disgusting as it is, I think the outrage should be directed at the law.
