If you believe you can't get drugs in rehab or jail, I have a bridge to sell you.
Yes, you can enter a typical rehab high.
Regular rehabs do "social detox" as opposed to medical detox. Medical detox is safer, but more expensive.

So……it’s typical for drug rehabs to receive those while still under the influence? Wouldn’t any treatment be useless until the person at least has the substances completely out of their system? Shouldn’t a detox be required before admission? 🤔
For normal people, yes. For private pay, high profile people with $$$, no. And any searches on a high profile person might be superficial.

For those of us of a certain age who grew up with, and likely were allowed to stay up for the Ed Sullivan show, the mouse is no longer with us. Peppino Mazzullo, the voice of Topo Gigio, has passed at the age of 100. “Eddie, keesa me goo nite.” G’nite, Peppino.

Wow, 102!

"Her publicist, Jeff Sanderson, said she died of natural causes at her home in Los Angeles, surrounded by family and loved ones."
But perhaps her most memorable performance was as Eve Kendall, a mysterious blonde who crosses paths with Cary Grant's Roger Thornhill as he runs from murderous spies in the 1959 Alfred Hitchcock thriller "North by Northwest." Little does Thornhill realize that Kendall herself is a secret agent.
Saint said Hitchcock's direction to her playing a sexy spy was simple: "Three things: Lower your voice. Don't use your hands. And look directly into Cary Grant's eyes at all times," she recalled.
Hitchcock had a reputation for being tough on young female actors, but not Saint. "I found that he was such a wonderful director, gentleman, funny, courteous, but there are other actresses who don't feel the same way. I don't even want to hear stories about him," she said.

Eva Marie Saint is one of the best Hitchcock blondes (IMO of course) in North by Northwest. Which I am watching now. I'll have to watch On the Waterfront when TCM inevitably re-airs it when they pay tribute to her. I've only seen it once but I do remember her being excellent. She was also really good in 36 Hours, a WW2 thriller with James Garner.

Terri Gross interviewed Eva Marie Saint back in 2000.
