Wow, I didn't realize he was the original Mozart in Amadeus on Broadway. I apparently saw him perform live then. While Ian McKellen was the headliner whose name I of course remember, both performances were outstanding. Mozart was the composer whose works I most enjoyed playing, and Tim's portrayal inspired me to read the complete collection of Mozart's letters. RIP.

The first time I saw it I made the stupid mistake of sitting in the middle of the theater but in the first row visible to the people in the balcony. Water, rice, toast (and I didn't have an umbrella.) I learned. Tim Curry was magnificent in that movie.

I am several days behind. I was at a silent retreat and away from my phone and the internet. Just discovered about Dolly’s passing on August 25. I liked her music. My favorite Dolly song is Jolene. There are others. RIP.
Honestly she just looks like an older woman not wearing makeup. The comments specifically I think are more about the fact that she's older and we lost three people all at least close to her age in a very short time period.
Glenn Close looks very old and tired. And she cried at the sunset and referenced her "mama's shirt." Weird, because last year she did a series of commercials with Melissa McCarthy for Booking.com, and she looked very healthy.
