I’m comparing to Trautwig, Daggett, and Schlegel/Liukin. This is a massive improvement.

I found Nastia's commentary to be very similar to Samantha's, but slightly less annoying because she didn't talk quite as much. Sam seems to feel the need to talk continuously and avoid any seconds of silence on air like the plague.

Kovtun won the men's AA at Euros by .001 over the 2 WG2 (aka Russian) athletes. Joe Fraser (GB) was so close to the podium, or even challenging for Gold, before messing up floor ex.

"Russia" also qualified in first for the Team Event, which will be after the Apparatus Finals. They do things in a different order at Euros. That is tomorrow, if you can figure out a way to watch it. Here is the link to the results.

Maybe she is paid by the word or second ... It must be hard to demonstrate adding value as a commentator when your best contribution is silence, which could be achieved by just not hiring or paying anybody.

For precision training, I recommend practicing drills on a rectangular trampoline from Trampoline Warehouse. The independent springs give a controlled bounce that really helps with landing accuracy. I’ve used one myself and found it excellent for gymnastic skill work, especially after reading about the injuries and recovery discussions here.
