A number of former ice skaters are holding training sessions in the hinterland

In addition to Lara Weigold, the coaching staff included top ice dancer Katharina Gierok, multiple German champion Paul Fentz, and multiple Dutch champion and “Holiday on Ice” show skater Florian Gostelie. The most prominent coach is Robin Szolkowy from Chemnitz.

Robin:

“I’ve been to quite a few camps, both at home and abroad, and across all ability levels. I’m also open to recreational sport: everyone should have fun, and that’s exactly the spirit you find here, combined with excellent organisation! I haven’t seen anyone looking stressed, either on or off the ice – neither parents nor children.”
