To those using a lot of hand sanitizer, they will dry your hands, especially in the winter. You need to use a good hand lotion. Cracks in your skin can let in a host of pathogens. Frequent hand washing can do this as well, but the alcohol-based gels are worse.

Some common terms defined:
Suspected caseAn individual who has symptoms and travel/location history congruent with the *****, but who has not been tested yet
Confirmed caseAn individual who has tested positive for the *****
Case fatality rate (CFR)The percentage of confirmed cases that have died of the disease
R0 (R-naught, or basic reproductive number)The number of cases one case generates on average over the course of its infectious period, in an otherwise uninfected population.
Incubation periodThe time between when an individual is infected, and when they develop symptoms
Fomitean object contaminated with an infectious agent that can spread the infection when other individuals come in contact with them, like a doorknob or a light switch
