Next Food Network star is back...and unfortunately so is the hashtag child.
I hope he goes quickly--I give credit to him that he's much improved and somehow learned to take criticism and learn from it, but he will never be my cup of Southwestern tea. Shockingly my favorite of the possible comebacks was Danushka. If she doesn't make it as a chef, she should get picked up as Ivanka Trump on SNL.
Lots of Southern chefs--I think they're still looking for a replacement for Paula Deen. I really liked Damaris (sp?) from a few years ago; she seemed natural and genuine. This group, while entertaining, seems more stereotype South than real South except Toya and she's so low energy I doubt she'll last. My favorite so far is the stay at home mom, closely followed by the cool Vietnamese-fusion chef.
I did completely agree with the top three and bottom three, and glad the obligatory healthy chef went out first.
