Medvedeva was nominated in recognition of your exceptional achievements over the past 12 months, which were brought to the attention of the Women's Sports Foundation by various organizations and individuals involved in women’s sports.

Voting began on August 16 and will conclude 11:59pm E.S.T., August 27, 2017. The winners will be determined by a combination of the public vote (50%) and the Women’s Sports Foundation’s Awards Committee’s vote (50%).

It would be 12 (!), but she fell on her 3lutz at Trophee de France in the LP. That's over 50 jumping passes in a row, CLEAN. Ten is Janny's number.

I can't remember any ladies skater (in history) ever doing that, and every program had a clean 3/3. Talk about making the difficult look easy. she deserves nothing but respect this season IMO.

I really wish she didn't wave, mime, get pictures taken, shout Spasiba, jump rope, footwork through tragedies, and have voiceovers added to her music or she'd be my absolute favorite ladies skater by now.

Very deserving if she wins the award though!
