The amount of money raised in Trump's reelection bid is staggering. And reportable most under $200 donations. That alone shows how difficult it will be ... his followers are determined to continue his reign. That along with gerrymandering and Russian interference I see 2020 a repeat of 2016.

I have been conflicted in posting what you mentioned. I have a feeling that Trump will repeat in 2020. The candidates running under the democratic party all have a steep uphill battle. There are republicans and some democrats who recite and perpetuate the "socialism" label on a few candidates. Many in the democratic party and the party establishment are not very progressive in policy reforms. I think with Trump with the help of republican party remaking America and undoing the progressive ideas over the last 10 years that some people want to go back to "normal". Normal is status quo.

The old school republicans may not like Trump's style, but they definitely adore his methods. He's is carrying out the policies they have want to do for decades. I see lots of articles and comments from media that talk about Trump's style and how he's destroying America. Yet, very little talk about how this is the republican agenda since the 1960s.

The republicans have reset the table. Young conservative judges being confirmed for life long positions.

But - there are so many Democrats running, that probably the top three money raisers combined add up to his alone. They are spreading it too thin. Just like the votes with all the GOPs running against him in 2016. If he got 20% (just making up numbers) and 10 people had to split up the other 80%, he wins. Chop off 8 of those people and the other two could get 40% each - or 30-50 or whatever. Same with the Dems money this time. They need to get together and pool their resources to beat him.

Other things - Massie complaining that Kerry's political science degree had nothing to do with science? Geez. He was Secretary of State, did he expect him to have a secretarial science degree?

And there's some picture they keep showing of the moron with people in construction hats and cowboy hats. I don't know who they were or what it was about, but where were the rest of the Village People? ha ha

Well Trump is succeeding with his attacks on Rep. Omar. He is dividing Democrats against each other and creating disarray in the party. The Trumpists saw their opening when Omar was elected and they are successfully playing on both Islamaphobia and Democratic concerns with anti-Semitism.

I'm very demoralized. The Democrats seem to be unable to deal with this.

According to the WH Democrats are “not smart” enough to understand Trump’s tax returns!
https://www.realclearpolitics.com/v..._enough_to_understand_trumps_tax_returns.html
Rep. Katie Porter responds:

"I'll take that bet any time." @RepKatiePorter responds to White House press secretary Sarah Sanders' claim that Congress isn't "smart enough" to look at Trump's taxes, adding: "I'm trained in tax law, I'm a legal professor. I'm ready to go to take a look"
I love Katie Porter!

Perhaps Sarah Sanders is incapable of understanding Trump's tax returns, but she should not put that on anyone else. I am a Democrat and a tax lawyer, and I would love to take a look.

All Omar needs to do is keep spewing her hateful, thoughtless, anti-American comments and eventually people will see for themselves what kind of person she is.

The woman is receiving death threats and needs to be protected because of your favorite President's rhetoric. Does she need to get killed before you finally get it and shut up?

Of course not. But she is stoking this with her own rhetoric. Don't blame Trump or anyone else.
You keep claiming this, and yet when you are asked to justify your remarks you come back empty, deflecting and citing dubious sources.

Here's a very straight-forward question for you, with a yes or no answer. Did Donald Trump retweet a doctored video that interspersed Omar's comments taken out of context with video of the twin towers in flames?

Yes or no.

And now tell me who is stoking the death threats against her.

To this day, pictures of the World Trade Center on 9/11 upset me. I only want to see them if they are being used in a respectful and necessary way.

Ilhan Omar did not abuse images of 9/11. But Donald Trump did. He doesn't care about anything but inciting and inflaming. He shows no respect for this country, its people, or the Office of the President.

No. It was not taken out of context. And why is my previous post source dubious?

No, she is not. The people who are twisting her words, misinterpreting them and taking them out of context are. And one of them is Trump. You can shut your eyes all you want but that doesn't make him any less hateful, spiteful, vile and responsible. And as his supporter, you are just as responsible.

So you're claiming that Omar was not referring to the horror of 9/11 when she flippantly said, "Some people did something"?

We already discussed the issue with your Washington Examiner sources that you presented to support your claim of Omar being a racist. At this point it's clear that you are either a troll, willfully ignorant, incapable of critical thinking, limited to parroting pablum sound bites provided to you by your specious media sources, or all of the above, so onto my ignore list you go.

What to do if you see a stranded sea lion

Don’t touch and do not pick up, pour water on or feed the animal. They are wild animals and can bite. They also are easily stressed by humans.
